Chapter 31 A Sudden Call

"Are you still going to keep your five sons in the dark?" Dr. Channing sighed.

Wilson didn't answer. Instead, he changed another topic, "Where is Lemuel?"

"When I got downstairs this morning, I saw him going to the company. Mr. Wilson, you have kept your

cancer as a secret for three months. Are you still going to keep them in the dark?"

"Just keep them unknown. It would be better for them to know nothing about it." Wilson coughed and

then asked, "Where is Miss Moore?"

"I heard that she got another job."

Her phone rang suddenly.

Verena smiled awkwardly and then picked up the phone, "Hello?"

"Miss Moore, Mr. Wilson needs you to be back right now!" the butler said.

"But I am still working Now!"

Verena took a deep breath and tried to hold back her embarrassed feelings. She coughed and tried to

"Eden, do you want to hear a joke?"

"Okay." He answered and kept driving attentively.
