Hazel let out a growl, caring less about the words of Rex at the moment.

“You are a…..” Rex’s words could not be completed as a familiar scent filled the air… Axel, he was back.

Axel walked into the living room and his eyes darted towards Hazel who was in her wolf form.

He took his gaze to Rex who was also staring at him now.

“You knew about this before, right?” Rex asked in a private mind link.

“Leave. Now.” Axel said to him in the mind link.

“Yeah, I am going to leave” Rex turned away and walked out of the place with a smirk on his lips.

He was going to go see the Alpha, their father that very night and he was going to reveal to their father the identity of Hazel, the identity of his son’s mate.

“Hazel” Axel moved closer to his mate and she shifted back into her human form.

“How many times did I tell you not to shift in front of anyone?” He spelt out his words in a scolding tune.

“How many times, Hazel?”

“The instruction was simple, keep your wolf side to yourself!”

Hazel’s eyes filled up. She was expecting him to hug her and tell her about what was wrong with her wolf side or at least tell her everything was going to be fine but he had done none of the two and was only interested in scolding her.

“Do you so much want to show off your wolf side that you opened the door for Rex to come in and let him see your wolf side, did you?!” His voice raised.

“Stop yelling at me!” She cried out as she got up from the floor, naked as she had just shifted back to her human form.

“You do not want me to yell at you? Ugh? Hazel? Why didn’t you just listen to me and make things easier for me?! You are no longer that kid from years back! Can you act like you can hear me and not act like you are dumb?!” He rambled.

“Why can’t you just listen to me before you conclude in your mind?!” She yelled at him as a tear dropped from her eyes.

She had just had a near rape incident with Rex, shifting was her only way to escape Rex pushing his dick inside of her. She had done it to keep herself for him, to make him her first but what she was getting now was him scolding her.

Axel stopped talking and let out a soft exhale through his mouth as he saw the tear that dropped from her eyes. He hated seeing her in tears but he was way too annoyed.

He had gone on a tour to different packs, trying to find a way to conceal a white wolf’s identity, he had gone away to find a way to protect her but he had come back to find her exposing herself to danger in a seemingly willing way.

It angered him.

“If you would not listen to me, then just leave!”

Hazel turned away and ran off into her room.

“Hazel!” he called her name but she gave no response and just continued the run to her room until she was inside of it.

His ears could pick the sound of the door locking up.

Axel sighed and ran his hands through his hair. He plopped down to the sofa behind him and let out a groan.

Now, he did not only have to protect the others from finding her wolf form, he also had to make sure his brother kept quiet about what he had found out.

Rex walked into his father’s mansion that very night. It was already late into the night when he arrived there but it was worth it for him.

Rex did not want to wait till the next day, not because he could not wait till the next day but because he did not know what the next day would bring along.

Things were usually unpredictable with Axel. If he decided to keep this information till the next day, Axel might find a way to stop him so he had to relay it to their father that night.

He walked towards the stairs with a smirk on his lips. Having a white wolf as a mate would definitely reduce the chances of Axel becoming the Alpha, after all a wolf from the White wolf pack was weaker and they were also slaves to them.

He got to his father’s door and knocked on the door thrice.

“Get in” he heard his father’s voice.

He pushed open the door and stepped into the room, shutting the door behind him.

“Rex”

“Greetings to you, father” he greeted the Alpha.

“You are here so late at night, for what reasons may this be?” The Alpha asked with a raised brow, genuinely surprised to see Rex.NôvelDrama.Org content.

“There is something you must know about, father”

“And what is this information that could not even wait till tomorrow?”

“It is about Axel and his mate” he replied.

“His mate… His mate is really Hazel?” The Alpha asked.

“Yes, father”

“I have been hearing about it but I could not confirm it since Axel has not come to tell me about it himself.”

“This is something Axel has wanted for long, if he found his mate already, why is he not coming out to show her in a grand style?”

“Even Hazel, she has been waiting for her wolf side for so long. She finally gets it and does not show it off in a grand style” the Alpha continued and paused to let Rex speak.

“All of this is for one single reason, father.”

“What reason?”

“The reason they are hiding Hazel is because she is not one of us. Today, I was chanced to see her wolf side and I found it out that….” He paused for a little more dramatic effect.

“That what?” The Alpha was impatient to know what was up with the mate of his favorite son.

“That Hazel is not a member of our pack but she is a member of the white wolf pack!”
