Chapter 19
Chapter 19
Bloom
Everything has been going smoothly over the course of the past three days. Ever since James brought me back from my tree house in the woods, he wouldn't stop apologising and being all cuddly with me. Not that I minded if course.
When he wasn't around, I had to have at least 2 guards by my side, most of the time.
He's still panicky. Just not as much as before.
Well, with all that chaos with the note and stuff, I never got round to meeting the royal pack.
Today is the day!
My dress is obviously sorted, my shoes are a pair of beautiful white wedge style shoes.
The rest was just my casual look, makeup, curled hair and all. I looked like a queen. Well, a queen who can't dress herself properly anyway. I had to get Sara, the castle stylist to help with the dress, it was really difficult to fit on.
Other than that, everything is fine.
I am panicking so much that my hands won't stop shaking at my sides. Two more minuets until James comes to take me away into the main hall.
Not a second goes by where I felt like screaming at the top of my lungs.
I knew I would be okay though, my mate by my side, helping calm my nerves. Lets do this thing.
James.
I couldn't wait to see her walk out that room. Each second of anticipation making me nervous. It was like we were getting married. Not yet though. I could already feel her nerves through the small mate bond. She shouldn't be nervous. It's not like she is meeting the whole world or anything.
I waited and waited, after what felt like hours, I finally heard he door open. I was dressed in a black button shirt with black jeans. My normal meeting outfit you could say really.
She stepped out of that room and I felt my jaw drop. She was literally drop dead gorgeous. The way her soft brown hair fell against her shoulders. Green eyes, popping.
Bloom has to be one of the most beautiful females.
She walked up to me, smirking, trying not to laugh.
She lifted her fingers and placed them under my jaw. I felt a slight tap, before my lips were placed back together. She laughed, the most calming laugh I have ever heard.
"I'd keep that jaw shut tight if I were you, wouldn't want to catch flies now, would we?" She chuckled, not taking her eyes away from my face.
Bloom
I walked out my room, each step slower than the first. Eventually slowing to a stop in front of James.
I smirked when I saw his jaw hanging open slightly. Closing it with a had just below his jaw, "I'd keep that jaw shut tight if I were you, wouldn't want to catch flies now, would we?" I chuckled.
Taking my hand in his, James walked me down the large, curled staircase down to just outside the ballroom. Just by staring at the doors I could tell the inside would be magnificent.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
The guard opened the large double oak doors to reveal a brightly lit room, full of chandeliers, scouring the ceiling. It was like a scene from beauty and the beast.
The room, full of laughter and loud chatter, suddenly fell silent as soon as they noticed our arrival.
They one by one all bowed, instantly recognizing us as the king and queen despite never meeting me.
I felt James squeeze my hand gently, reassuringly.
The stage at the head of the room was a easy journey to get to surprisingly. Every wolf had made a pathway in the middle of the room, allowing me and James to walk through to the stage.
"Hello people of the Royal pack!" James's loud voice boomed in the silent room, echoing all round every corner, "Today I would like to introduce you to my mate, your queen, Bloom Marie Black. You are to treat her the way you would wish to be treated, how you would normally treat me or expect to be punished!"
I felt his hand on my lower back, walking me forward toward him. I bowed slightly before siting on the fairly large throne next to James. The queens throne.
The back was encrusted with diamonds on both thrones, on the kings throne, retched into the back said 'He who rules with peace and strength.' The words on mine were something of a fairytale, 'She who rules by his side, with peace and love over all,'.
Sitting in the throne was surprisingly comfy, the cushioned seat lifting me to sit just slightly higher.
Now, it's coronation time.
In front of me, I noticed the previous king, who I have yet to meet, kneel down to sit still a. It taller then me.
"Bloom Marie Black soon to be Jackson, do you accept the role of queen, to rule over everyone with fairness and keep peace?"
"Yes," I nodded, no longer feeling nervous.
I saw him nod his head approvingly at James. A large smile on his face.
"To serve your country, I now pronounce you Bloom, queen!" He shouted easing the crown onto my head.
I stood up, only to have everyone bow once again. I am now the queen. It's just the responsibilitys that come with it.
I can do this!
