Marry My Ex’s Uncle After Rebirth by Agatha Barney

Chapter 205

When Vincent and Stephanie awoke, they prepared to say farewell to the folks at Terodt Village and head back to Manville Hospital to visit Lola. However, they noticed that Denver and Rohan were nowhere to be seen.

Ms. Lambert handed Stephanie a note, with For Stephanie written on the front. Upon opening it, Stephanie recognized Denver’s handwriting

The message revealed that he and Ronan had left to find Myriad Poison 1 erb because Vincent’s illness couldn’t afford another relapse, it would be more serious with each occurrence

Stephanie clutched the note tightly, her lips pressed into a thin line. Vincent’s episodes were indeed a matter of urgency, and once they returned to Jacaster, she was determined to begin researching a cure. Her two mentors truly treated her like their own granddaughter. She vowed to herself that from then on, she would honor and respect them as such.

Vincent approached her, “Have the two mentors of yours left?

Stephanie nodded softly, “Yes, they have.”

Vincent took her hand softly. To find a cure for me?”

Stephanie was initially taken aback but quickly realized that someone as smart as Vincent couldn’t easily be fooled. “We’ll End it for sure. Once I’m back in Jacaster, I’ll also put my all into developing a cure. You will recover.”

Vincent smiled warmly and gently tousled her hair, I believe in you.”

After bidding farewell to the people in Terodt Village, Stephanie and Vincent arrived at Manville Hospital. Lola had been moved to a regular ward and was recovering well.

Stephanie recounted the recent events that transpired across the three villages. Lola was taken aback upon learning that the tragedy in Terodt Village was caused by Mia’s malicious desires, which resulted in the loss of so many lives and the ruin of

numerous families.

Lola’s eyes reddened with emotion, her parents had met the same fate. Initially, due to the curse, they had been afraid to have children. Only after years of marriage and a longing for a child did they overcome a multitude of inner conflicts and decided to have her.

Six years ago, Lola’s parents welcomed Elvis into the world when they were already in their forties. They were scared that their second child might lose their parents at a very young age.

Lola said that since the child had come into their lives, they should cherish this gift. She promised to take good care of her younger brother or sister. Maybe in a few years, the curse suffocating Terod Village would be lifted, and the people of Terodi Village would all live long lives.

Back then, they knew all too well that such thoughts were just fantasies, but now, against all odds, their wish had been fulfilled. Although their resources were still scarce, they were confident that within a few years, the bloodline Fenewal project would succeed for Terodt Village’s people.

Holding Stephanie’s hand tightly. Lola expressed her gratitude, Stephie, thank you. Without you, our fate could never have been changed.”

Stephanie offered a gentle smile. “You sacrificed yourself to save my husband, so my gratitude goes even deeper. I want to ask, would you and Elvis be willing to come back with us to Jacader? There, you could get a better education and healthcare, and live in a different world, with better living conditions.

“But what about Ms. Lambert and the other villagers?” Lola asked

“Ms. Lambert feels the same. She hopes you and Elvis can leave his place and live your lives.”

Lola pursed her lips pensively. “Tll think about it.”

“Take your time. I respect your choice, but I also wish you’d choose to live for yourself,” said Stephanie, her smile curving kindly. “Vincent and I must return to Jacaster. Zane, Vincent’s assistant, will stay behind to help you. You can go to him for anything you need.”

Lola nodded, “Thank you, Stephie, thank you, Vincent.”

Stephanie hoped Lola and Elvis would go with her, she wanted a brighter future for them, not a life confined within the bounds of their village until death..

After leaving the hospital, Stephanie and Vincent headed to the airport in Manville and caught a private flight back to Jacaster. Landing in the city by 6 pan., the couple went straight to a hospital for a check–up.

After making sure they were both unscathed, they returned to the apartment.

Vincent pressed her against the wall, leaning in for a kiss, but Stephanie raised her hand to cover his mouth, “Shower first.” Vincent raised his eyebrows and said, “I can’t wait.”

Stephanie glanced at him and said, “You are in the master bedroom while I am in the guest bedroom. We won’t take a bath together.” After saying that, she gently pushed the man away and ran into the guest bedroom, locking the door. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Vincent chuckled and headed to the master bedroom

Stephanie finished her shower quickly, wrapping her hair in a towel turban before heading to the kitchen to make chicken alfredo pasta. Vincent’s stomach needed proper care which meant regular, temperate meals with no overindulgence or harsh, cold, or spicy food.

Stephanie cooked the porridge and whisked it into a paste with a blender. Seeing the sticky smudge, she smiled as if she was taking care of a baby, Imagining the adorable baby she might have with Vincent brightened her mood, and she hummed a tune while starting on a spaghetti bolognese.

Meanwhile, clad in a robe, Vincent used his towel to dry his dark hair. Watching Stephanie’s slender figure from behind, he draped the towel over a chair and walked over, caging her between his arms.

As Stephanie turned, Vincent’s kiss landed on her lips.

He unraveled the towel, letting her damp hair fall over her shoulders. Vincent held the back of her head with both hands, kissing her deeply, exploring from the corners of her lips down to her neck and collarbone.

Stephanie clutched the sides of his robe, “Vincent, can we eat first, please?”

The food is not as delicious as you. Huh?”

Vincent was buried in her neck, and his burning breath made Stephanie’s legs weak. “Stop it.” The porridge is getting cold” Vincent nodded and let her go.

Stephanie poured the purced porridge into a bowl and handed to him. “Dining room

“Yes, honey, Vincent replied obediently, taking the bowl to the table where Stephanie sat across from him with her spaghetti -bolognese.

As they ate, she suggested, Tomorrow, let’s swing by the Fletche residence first, then visit the Jimenez residence. Vincent raised his eyes and said, “We can go back to the Jimenez residence first. You don’t have to put me first.” Stephanie thought for a moment, then offered a new plan. “We could just get both families together, and go out to The

Vincent smiled gently. “Craving some juicy food, my Stephie?”

Stephanie nodded, “I haven’t eaten fatty food for a long time.”

After saying that, she looked at the man who was looking at her. She trembled her eyelashes and found that there seemed to be a hint in his words.

Vincent! Tonight. I’m going to sleep in a different room from you. Stephanie declared, though her words were stronger than her will. In the end, her tender heart got the better of her. Vincent successfully made his way to the guest room bed where Stephanie was staying.

The days had been wearing on her, and Stephanie quickly succumbed to sleep. Watching the peaceful expression on the face of the girl in his arms. Vincent felt an overwhelming sense of contentment, tinged with a hint of sorrow.

His satisfaction came from Stephanie’s constant presence by his side, her unwavering support at all times. His sadness, however, was rooted in the knowledge that his medication for his madness was running out, and he was terrified that he might lose control again before a cure could be found.

He held her closer, his gaze shifting to the silver moon visible through the window. To him, he and Stephanie’s life together should be as complete and fulfilling as the full moon above.
