Marry Ex’s Uncle After Divorcement By Jacqueline Chapter 475
Eugene called Brenda out and pushed Theresa to her. “Theresa is drunk. Take her to rest.”
“I’m not drunk. Let go of me.” Theresa struggled, obviously drunk.
Brenda called a maid over and helped Theresa into the house.
Charlie was in the study. Jonathan came out just in time to see Brenda and a maid helping. Theresa out of the elevator.
Jonathan asked, “What happened to Mrs. Calsis?”
Brenda said, “She’s drunk. Mr. Oneill brought her back. I don’t know what happened. I’m taking
her to rest.” She had no idea why Theresa had drunk during the daytime! It had never happened!
Jonathan went back to the study and looked at Charlie. He knew Charlie was upset because of what Sarah had said so he and Theresa had ended up parting ways after lunch, but he also knew
Charlie liked Theresa and wanted them to untangle the knots. “Mr. Calsis, Mrs. Calsis is back
drunk.”
Charlie looked up at him. “She drank?”
“She’s completely drunk. Eugene sent her back.”
Charlie frowned in confusion. “Why were they together?”
“I don’t know.”
Charlie stood up and went to the bedroom next door, where Brenda had gotten Theresa into bed.
Theresa sat up as soon as she lay down. “I’m uncomfortable.”
Brenda asked, “Do you want some water?”
“I want to throw up.” Theresa frowned.
Brenda had to help her into the bathroom. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
When they came back, Theresa lay back down. Brenda tucked her in and saw Charlie as she
looked up. “Mr. Calsis.”
“How is she?” Charlie walked over.
Brenda replied, “Mrs. Calsis is drunk.”
Unlike Cristina, Theresa was quiet when she was drunk. She just lay still in bed sleeping with her
eyes closed.
Brenda stood up and was about to leave when her hand was grabbed. “Mrs. Calsis.”
“Mom…” Theresa mumbled.
Brenda smiled. “Looks like she’s really drunk. Mr. Calsis, if there’s nothing else, I’m going out.” She thought Charlie had something to say to Theresa, so she put Theresa’s hand down and walked out.
There was just Theresa and Charlie left in the room. Charlie walked over to the bed and looked
grimly at Theresa. She had never been drunk. It was still daytime! “Why did you drink?” He was upset that she was drunk. He felt aggrieved that she didn’t care about him at all!
Theresa didn’t answer. She slept very quietly.
Charlie found her cute when she slept. He sat up and pulled her up. “Theresa.”
Theresa didn’t struggle but took his hand. “Mom, I miss you…” She acted like a child’
Charlie frowned slightly. His heart softened at once. He knew Theresa’s mom died early. “Talk to me. Don’t play dumb. You’re a mother. What will your children think when they see you like
this?”
