Married At First Glance: I Am Not Ugly

Anderson Sincerity

Marissa felt a lump in her throat. She had never expected to hear those words from Anderson, and they touched her deeply. She wasn’t sure what to say, so she decided to change the subject.

“So how’s work going?” she asked, feeling a bit nervous.

Anderson took another sip of his coffee and smiled. “Work is good. I’m actually in the process of expanding my law firm, and I’m very excited about it.”

“That’s great!” Marissa said, feeling a bit relieved that they were on safer ground. “What kind of expansion are you doing?”Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.

“I’m opening a second location in the city.” he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. “It’s going to be a huge undertaking, but I think it will be well worth it in the end. I’m going to be able to help even more people, and that’s what really matters to me.”

“That’s amazing.” Marissa said, feeling a sense of pride and admiration for Anderson. “I know how hard you’ve worked to get to where you are, and it’s great to see you expanding your reach. Do you have a timeline for the expansion?”

“I’m hoping to have the new location up and running by the end of the year.” he said, taking another sip of his coffee. “It’s going to be a lot of work, but I think it will be worth it in the end. The new location is going to be larger than the current one, and I’m going to be able to take on more clients. I’m also going to be able to offer more services, which I think will be a big draw for people. It’s going to be a lot of work, but I’m up for the challenge.”

“That sounds really exciting.” Marissa said, genuinely impressed by Anderson’s plans. “It’s great that you’re so passionate about what you do. Not many people can say that about their work.”

Anderson nodded. “I feel very fortunate to be doing what I love, and to be able to help people while I’m doing it. It’s a win-win, really.”

“I couldn’t agree more.” Marissa said, feeling more at ease as they continued to chat. “So, what made you decide to expand? Was it something you’ve been thinking about for a while, or was it a more recent decision?”

“It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while.” Anderson said, his eyes lighting up as he talked about his plans. “I’ve been thinking about how I can do more to help people, and I realized that the best way to do that was to expand my reach. I want to be able to help as many people as possible, and this is the best way to do that. I’m also hoping that it will allow me to provide more services to those who need them the most. It’s not just about making money, it’s about making a difference.”

Marissa was struck by Anderson’s sincerity. It was clear that he was passionate about his work, and that he genuinely wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. She felt a sense of admiration and respect for him.

“I think that it’s amazing that you’re so committed to helping others.” she said, her voice full of admiration. “It’s not every day that you meet someone who is so passionate about their work, and it’s refreshing to see. Do you find that your work is rewarding, even when it’s difficult?”

“Absolutely.” Anderson said, without hesitation. “Even when things are tough, I know that I’m doing something meaningful. I know that I’m making a difference in people’s lives, and that’s what keeps me going. I feel like I’m doing something worthwhile, and that makes all the difference.”

“I guess you and Alexander have so much in common. That’s why you guys are friends.” she said.

Anderson nodded and smiled.

“Well, you see, I met Alexander at an event at the company where I was handling their legal affairs and he was interested in my work after he heard from one of the invitees that I was a competent lawyer and I always do my work well.

So he walked up to me and offered me a job at his company. I had also heard about his annoying attitude and how he treated his staff. I didn’t want to work for such an arrogant prick as you called him, but when I started getting to know him, he wasn’t that bad. Yeah, he had his flaws but he was kind and innocent. He believed in giving his best at work and making sure that we deliver the best result so that other companies, investors can feel rest assured. I guess that’s why he’s the best at what he does.” Anderson said.

Marissa was struck by how much Anderson respected and admired Alexander. It was clear that he saw something in Alexander that others didn’t. It was a side of Alexander that she hadn’t seen before, and it made her wonder if there was more to him than she realized.

“It sounds like you and Alexander have a strong working relationship.” Marissa said, trying to understand what made their connection so special. “What is it about him that you admire so much?”

Anderson thought for a moment, and then spoke.

“I admire his drive and his determination.” he said, his voice full of admiration.

“Alexander is always striving to be the best, and he never gives up. Even when things are tough, he keeps pushing through. I admire that resilience and determination. It’s inspiring to see someone who is so passionate about what they do. And on top of that, he’s a really good person. He cares about others and wants to make a difference in the world. I think that’s really admirable.”

Marissa nodded, her mind racing as she considered what Anderson had said. She had never thought of Alexander in that way, but now she could see why Anderson respected him so much. It was clear that Alexander had made an impression on Anderson, and that their relationship was more than just a professional one.
