Madelyn knew what awaited the Garcia family and didn’t want to waste any more time on them. Seeing her about to leave, Caleb and Elena’s faces turned pale.

Amelia dragged her sore body inside. Upon entering, she immediately understood the situation had spiraled out of

control.

She immediately rushed to Madelyn’s side and clung to her legs.

“Maddie, listen to me. It’s not what you think.

“Your father didn’t mean to treat you that way. Trust me!”

“Mrs. Garcia, we no longer have any relationship. Please don’t call yourself my mother when you see me from now on.

Madelyn found the thought of Amelia as her mother to be deeply insulting.

She forcefully retrieved her leg from Amelia’s grasp and scanned the crowd before saying, “I’ll have my lawyer handle the paperwork to serve all ties. You’ll receive it soon.”

sever ties. She turned and left with Andrew without looking

The atmosphere in the Garcias living room grew heavy. Caleb and Amelia erupted into anger once Andrew and Madelyn departed.

Realizing she had lost everything, Amelia went ballistic, grabbing things off the coffee table and hurling them at

Caleb.

“Were you even thinking? I told you we can’t do this. We can’t escape Andrew’s control.‘

She had never agreed to this plan. Now, it had all gone terribly wrong.

Caleb’s chest heaved with fury.

“It’s your fault! You couldn’t stop him!”

“Do you know how much time I bought just to stop him? You

allowed Andrew to see that scene. You’ve ruined me.

Everything my mom left me is gone because of you.”

Amelia grew angrier as she considered the situation. Using Madelyn to obtain a sum of money and flee abroad was proving impossible.

Every time she recalled Andrew’s stern face, she realized how challenging this whole affair was. However, Caleb was still determined to proceed with that plan. He was ruining them all.
