Chapter 899 Caught By Lawrence (Part Two)

Chapter 899 Caught By Lawrence (Part Two)

"Also, if there is anything important, just call me," said Lawrence. And he didn't leave until Lily had

nodded to him in affirmation.

Lawrence drove towards the Xiao family's house. There were many men wearing black suits standing

in the yard. It must be Mike who had arranged for them as protection.

When Lawrence just walked out from his car, a man in black walked towards him.

"Mr. Lawrence," the man greeted him politely.

"Nothing special happened after I left, I hope?" Lawrence asked, looking around. It was very quiet in

the morning, nothing special.

"Nothing special. Everything is well," the man replied.

Lawrence nodded and then walked inside the villa.

Greg had just finished having his breakfast. Greg was a bit shocked to see that Lawrence was there.

"Brother, when did you come back?" asked Greg.

"Yesterday," said Lawrence. Then he looked upstairs, asking, "Is Uncle Fred feeling okay now?"

"Well, he is getting better," said Greg, and motioned Lawrence to sit, "Brother, please have a seat."

Sitting down on the sofa, Lawrence stared at Greg, who was holding a glass of water for him, and

asked, "How is everything going on, is all well at your end?"

Greg also sat on the sofa, and said, "It is almost over. The funeral was held yesterday. We just

informed a few people about the news. My father was in a very bad condition, and I was also worried

that he wouldn't be able to control himself well there, so he didn't attend. The funeral was just held in a

hurry."

"I get it. I have also heard that it is Aunt Selina who is managing the hospital now, isn't it?" asked

Lawrence. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

"Yes, I needed her help. Everything has happened so suddenly, I couldn't handle it all by myself. I could

just ask Aunt Selina for her help," said Greg. And then he added, "I plan to start going to deal with the

business at the hospital from tomorrow. My father wouldn't recover from this sadness so soon. I would

have to give him more time to adjust himself."

"Okay. If you need any of my help, just let me know it," said Lawrence.

"Brother, is Violet ok now? When will she come back?" asked Greg. Violet was only the one he cared

about the most.

"Well, she is fine now. Don't worry about her. She will come back with my parents when it is the proper

time," said Lawrence kindly. Lawrence's attitude towards Greg was improving. Greg became more

sensible after Sharon's death.

"That's good. I am waiting for her anxiously," said Greg, delighted.

"Greg," said Lawrence, a bit serious in his tone.

"I am listening," Greg replied, waiting for Lawrence to say something more.

"I am sorry about Aunt Sharon's death and that I couldn't help you at that time. I had no idea that you

would know Sally. Before I had left this city, I had doubted that Sally had come back. But I didn't know

that she knew Aunt Sharon," said Lawrence, feeling sympathetic.

"Brother, please don't feel guilty. No one should be blamed for it," said Greg, remaining calm. He

added, "We both know what kind of person Aunt Sharon was and what she had done in the past. What

you had done to her at the party was also understandable. If I were you, I would have also treated her

in the same way as you did, because she had harmed Violet in a way which no one could tolerate."

Greg's voice echoed in the living room. He continued to say, "I am sad because she was suddenly

killed at the time when I wanted to protect her well, treat her kindly and live with my father and her

peacefully. None of us could accept her death, it was so sudden. Especially when I saw how sad my

Dad was, I was heartbroken."

Lawrence didn't say a word, he just kept silent.

"Let's forget the past. We all have to face the future. Sadness will fade as time passes by. What I need

to do now is to take good care of my father and manage XS hospital. And at the same time, I am also

waiting for Violet here," said Greg.

Greg's words made Lawrence relieved. Lawrence saw strength and confidence in him. Lawrence

believed that Greg would be able to handle everything well.

After chatting with Greg for a long time, Lawrence just left the house.

Three days later, in the underground car park of JC Building, a woman who wore the clothes for

cleaners was about to take the elevator. She was taking a refuse cart all by herself after finishing the

cleaning of the park.

When walking into the elevator, Sally removed her mask and pressed the button for the tenth floor.

At the same time, at a corner of the tenth floor, there was a woman in black who was waiting for Sally,

with a gun in her hand and two knives hidden in her boots.

She was staring towards the elevator, the switching room and the fire control room.

The tenth floor of JC building was its control centre. Generally, people didn't go there. Only the

administrator was allowed to visit that section. And sometimes the cleaner would come here to do

some cleaning. There was a switching room, a fire control room, a supervising room, and some other

rooms on that floor. Only the administrator knew the region divisions. And except the administrator, no

one knew how to enter the rooms.

Yesterday night, Hellen's computer had signalled alarms, warning her that someone had entered the

forbidden zone. Hellen checked it and then she was sure that it was Sally. She was excited that she

had finally found where Sally was. Like what Lawrence had guessed, Sally no doubt would come to JC

Building if she wanted to destroy them. And now Hellen was here waiting for her to come.

"Ding-dong," the elevator stopped on the tenth floor. Wearing a hat, a mask and the clothes for

cleaners, Sally walked out of the elevator while wheeling the refuse cart towards the room.
