The young woman just sits down on the pavement of the street and didn't move. She was angry

looking at the young man who bumps into her. Both were surrounded by men with black suits.

"Miss, please don't be reasonable, sir Sven will get angry also your Dad please don't run." One of the

men coaxes the young woman.

"Grr. You!" She suddenly gets up and went toward the young man who is standing and was frozen on

the spot.

"Watch where you're going. You dimwit." The young woman scolds the young man.

All the men that surround them start to sweat. One of the men from the young woman's side walked

toward the young man and apologize.

"Mr. Goori please excuse our young miss....." He wasn't able to finish his sentence when.

The young man passed him by and walked toward the young woman and on the spot, he grabs her

waist and kisses her. Everyone around them was shocked. Their mouth drops on the floor. Everyone

knows how cold the young man is. He doesn't smile and doesn't show his emotions.

Sheri was so confused. Her brain felt like it's not functioning. She cannot grasp what is happening.

Suddenly the old woman speaks.

"Mr. Hoal I think my grandson is serious about this. What if we let them be. My husband was recently

buried, and my grandson is devastated that he is gone. This is the first time my grandson smiles and

asked a favor. Since child, he never smiles neither laughs. I hope you will consider our proposal." the

old woman said while drinking her tea.

"Sigh.... Madam, it is not that we don't agree. But our daughter is one of a kind. Mr. Devon is still young,

and he might if in the future doesn't like my daughter because of her attitude then it might hurt her. We

are just protecting your prestigious name and also her. The Goori is much respected in the world of

business, and we don't want to smear your name." Her father said.

"Mr. Hoal. I am positively sure that I will treasure your daughter no matter what. I will make sure she will

be happy." Devon firmly said.

"Mr. Hoal see my grandson is well dedicated to your daughter. I have known that Hoal Enterprise is a

and starts helping the old woman up.

"I'll see you soon wifey." Devon winks at Sheri and walked out together with his grandma after saying

goodbye to everyone.

Nevertheless, Sheri was grounded and was sent to her room. She was shocked the whole day. She

was running just a while ago trying to escape from her bodyguard suddenly she had already a fiance.

She holds her chest. It was beating so wild while looking at the picture of Devon. He was so handsome

up close, and she was kissed by him two times. She starts to hold her lips but at the same time wanting

to pull her hair out. Her first kiss was gone and even her second. She also remembers the promise that

he will personally teach her. she felt shiver just remembering what will happen.

She felt like her freedom is gone. She wanted to cry. Morning came and the news that Devon Goori

and Sheri hoal were engaged are all over the news.

While reading Sheri couldn't believe it that she has a fiance and not even that it was the Goori. One of

Morning came. Sheri forget what happened yesterday and was just waking up walking toward the

kitchen. Her eyes were still a bit close and still yawning. She went to make coffee and when she was

done she walked past toward the living room. She was supposed to go back to her room when she saw

a man sitting at the coach drinking. Sheri immediately chokes up when she saw who it was.

Sheri was immediately wake up when she saw Devon smiling at her while folding the newspaper that

he was reading.

Sheri pointed her finger toward him and was speechless. Her brother passed by and said.

" Go and change your be late," Sven said while looking at her sister whose hair is disheaved.

Sven gave a cup of coffee to Devon and Devon thank him. Devon looks at Sheri and points to the

watch signaling her she will be late.

Sheri wanted to protest but she remembers who he is and it makes her scared.

Since that day Devon keeps coming to the house of Sheri. He personally sends her to her school. He

brings her back home. They sometimes study together and indeed he was very strict.

Sheri at first protested but every time she protests she will be kissed by him. Since then, she stops

protesting. If She argues she will be punished by having no gadget at all, or she will together with

Devon somewhere in the middle of the forest trying to survive. It was a painful lesson for her.

Slowly but surely Sheri was impressed on how good Devon is toward her. She slowly falls in love with

him. Every time She is angry, he will coax her. He was very patient with her. Even at a party. Every

single lady in the parties wanted to have a talk with Devon but Devon keep on holding the waist of

Sheri. He wouldn't allow her to be far from him during gatherings and events.

One day the Goori held an event. During the gathering. Someone lured Sheri to go to the bathroom

and lock her out. She didn't carry her phone due to, she was grounded by Devon. Devon was drugged

and was sent to a room. Sheri had a bad premonition of what is happening. She forces and kicks the

door of the bathroom. Since, Devon brings her to the forest. She develops a survival instinct. Her

hands and feet were bleeding after she was able to open the door. She looks for Devon and can't find

him. She asks the hotel security system to check where he is, and they found him in one of the rooms

almost naked. When Sheri kicks the door, she saw a woman almost naked. She directly asked the

security men to drag the woman and send her to jail. The woman was screaming. Sheri can see Devon

was panting.

"Damn, if I was a second late your virginity will be gone." Sheri sigh. She asked everyone to be out and

started to dress him up.

When he smells her. His adrenaline went to the roof.

"Sheri, my Sheri you came." He immediately embraced her. He felt hot, and her smell makes him

hornier.

"Oh, No way you will touch me after another woman touch you." She literally pushed Devon to the

bathroom. Sheri had a hard time because he was strong. He almost tried to push her in the bed but

every time he does that she dodges him.

In the bathroom, she opens the shower and puts Devon under the cold water. His subordinates call a

doctor right away and while he was under the shower the medicine arrived.

Devon was trying his best to control his urge. He gains a bit of control when he was under the shower.

Sheri walked inside and gives him a bottle of water and medicine.

Her brothers arrived and pushed Sheri out of the room. Her mother immediately sends her to the

hospital due to her feet were bleeding and her hands.

Morning arrived.

Sheri was at home her feet were bandaged and her hands were also bandaged. She was not allowed

to touch any water in which, it's frustrate her.

Devon arrived at her home.

He was so angry at the woman who schemes him. He immediately bankrupts their family and puts her

in prison.

Devon knocked on the door of Sheri's room.

Sheri finds it funny to see the mighty Devon look like a puppy that was scolded by his master. Sheri

was planning so many scenarios on her head on how to get him back for all the scolding, bringing her

in the forest and taking away her phone.

She was supposed to implement it when her father scolded her. At the side, Devon was smiling. Sheri

was again angry at Devon, but Devon did his best to make up for her.

The Goori and the Hoal family were smiling at the side looking at them both throwing mud at each

She looks at him and draws closed toward his face and claim his lips. She started to remove his jacket.

It is summer, so the temperature is not bad in night.

The fire between them starts to ignite. Devon starts to kiss her deeply and suddenly stop and made a

little distance from Sheri. Sheri was a bit angry.

"You know we can't do it." Devon gently said.

"Grr... you keep on teasing me and stop in the middle. That is the reason why I flirted with that stupid

guy perhaps you will be super jealous and starts doing more."

Devon took a deep breath.

"I promised your dad." Devon gently said.

"As much as I wanted you. Right here and right now. I can't. I did promise your parents to walk you in

the isle before we do that."

"Sheri got up from him and sit at the opposite of him and didn't care anymore. She is frustrated.

Devon gets up and kneels in front of her. Sheri didn't look at him. Until, he brings out something in his

pocket.

"Ms Sheri Hoal. Can you give me the honor of carrying my last name?" Devon gently said and presents

toward her, a beautiful, simple ring.

Sheri almost cried when she saw what he did. They have been together for almost 8 years. She is

done also with her studies.

"I thought you would never ask." Sheri's tears start to fall.

A helicopter came and brings them home. The Goori and the Hoal family celebrated that day.

After a month Devon and Sheri married. That is the time also the Hoal Enterprise had a charity event.

Sheri came with Devon.

She turns around and saw a man holding the tray.

"Are you alright?"

Sheri looked at her husband.

"I'm ok, are you alright?" Sheri turns toward the kid and the kid smile.

"I'm alright Mrs. Goori." the kid smiles.

Sheri blushed when she heard that name.

She couldn't believe it that she's now Mrs. Goori.

Sheri turns around and saw Devon talking to the man who helps her. She walked toward them when

the kid runs to her parents.

" Mr. Copper let me introduce to you my wife Sheri Goori." Devon clasps her waist.

Sheri reaches out her hand to shake Eric's hand.

" Mr. Copper."

" Mrs. Goori." He shakes her hand. He started to feel uncomfortable when he heard the word, Mrs.

Goori.

They said that Devon Goori dotes on his wife so much. When he was looking at her. He couldn't

understand why he felt sad.

"Thank you, Mr. Copper for your help while ago." Sheri smile.

Eric was taken aback when she smiles. His heart beats very fast and starts blushing.

Devon saw it and was not pleased with it.

" Excuse us, Mr. Copper," Sheri said goodbye and was wondering why Devon pulls her.

Devon brings her to one of the private rooms upstairs of the mansion.

" Why are we here?"

Devon locks the door and instantly claim her lips and grab her breast.

forehead. Sheri looked at him and smile.
