Chapter 10 Chapter 10

I woke up the next morning and went to the bathroom. I was looking like a zombie. My hair was all

tangled and everywhere. My eyes red and puffy and my lips were pale. I took a shower and powdered

my face to hide the evidence that showed I was crying because I seriously didn't want Scott to ask

questions. I took Beth to school and told her she must have her inhaler pack at all times and she

nodded. I left to the company and as I entered inside, I was met with a grinning Scott and beautiful

daises.

"Hey girlfriend" he said which a smile which made me smile but on the inside, I was crying.

"Hey boyfriend" I replied. He smiled again and gave me the flowers. I smelt them and boy, they smelt

nice. "They smell really nice Scott. Thank you" I appreciated.

"Your welcome baby" he said and kisses my forehead. I looked behind him and saw almost everyone

staring at us with their mouth agape and then I hugged Scott unexpectedly. He was startled at first, but

hugged me back. He wanted to pull away but I hugged him more.

"They're watching us and I seriously hate attention" I explained and hid my face in his chest continuing

inhaling his scent.

"It not funny" I told him which made him laugh more then I turned my back on him and started walking

away but he drew me back to his chest.

"I'm sorry baby, I'm sorry." He apologized and I nodded my head to show him he was forgiven.

"Thank you" he said and turned me to face him. I looked into his eyes and I couldn't find that spark that

was always there when he was with me-Emilia. I saw him leaning down and then he kissed me and I

also responded.

"Go get a room bro. Seriously, this is a company." A voice said and I turned to look at the person and

saw it was Blake. He also looked at me and gasped then he scowled at me.

"What the fuck is she doing here Scott?" He said, venom dripping out from every word which made me

a little bit scared.

"Who are you talking about?" He asked him.

"Her of course! Her! Emilia! Who else would I be talking about. What the fuck is she doing here Scott.

Huh?!!!!" He yelled making me flinch. I didn't know he hated me this much. Taylor came to calm him

down by holding his shoulder and stroking his hair.

"Bro chill. Why are you so upset. its not Emilia. This is Emily. She just looks like Emilia in a way." He

explained making Blake frown in confusion.

"Huh?" He said.

"This is not Emilia. This is Emily. she works here. She just looks like Emilia" he told him.

"Oh. Oh. Oh my god. I am so sorry. I'm really sorry miss Emily. Please forgive me. I'm really sorry." He

apologized.

"Its okay. I understand" I told him.

"Sorry once again. I thought you were somebody else." He said.

"Its cool. I get it. Its okay" I replied.

"Thanks for forgiving me. I'm Blake by the way" he said and held out his hand for me to shake and I

shook it.

"I'm Emily. Well, you already know" I said with a small laugh.

"Yeah" he said.

"So you two, are like dating?" He asked. I saw Scott roll his eyes.

"No, we were just eating each other faces off" he said sarcastically which made me also roll my eyes.

"Sorry. Sorry, it was just a question" Blake said raising his hands. in surrender.

"Hey! Let's have a triple date." Scott said with his face lit up.

"I and Emily, you and Taylor. Eric and Michelle. What do you say?" He said and Blake nodded his head

grinning.

"You bet."

"So when's this triple date?" He asked.

"On Friday night." He said.

"I don't think I can make it." I told him. His smile faltered.

"Yeah, I also don't think Eric and Michelle can make it. You know....mike" Taylor said and then his smile

faltered I want that smile back on his face.

"Uhm, how about we...." He trailed off.

"We what?" I asked.

"We drop them off at Ashley" he said and removed his eyes from mine then realization hit me and I

widened my eyes.

"Ashley Benson?" I asked.

"Yeah her. You know, she's a pretty good business woman now. She owns a really popular boutique

here in new York" he said.

"Nope. Nada. I am not dropping off my sister to a death wish" I told him and shook my head.

"Come on, don't overexaggerate. She's just gonna watch them. She's really changed. "he defended

her.

"Pretty please with a cherry on top?" He said with cute puppy eyes. I sighed in defeat.

"Fine. But I swear, if anything happens to Beth, your dead. Okay?" I warned him and he grinned

nodding his head.

"Okay. Now, we just have to convince Michelle." He said. I went to work after that I went to pick Beth at

Michelle's house and unfortunately, I had to be the one to convince her to allow Ashley babysit mike.

"Hey Michelle" I greeted.

"Hi. Beth's upstairs with mike" she said with a mischievous glint in her eyes which made me roll my

eyes. We sat down and I knew it was time to convince her.

"Michelle, who's my best friend?" I said and she sighed.

"What do you want Mia?" she asked. She always knew whenever I wanted something anytime I did

that.

"Well, you see, I and Scott are dating now" I informed her which made her grin.

"Really?!!!! Oh my god, I so have to start planning this wedding." She ranted on.

"He's dating Emily not Emilia. He said he wants to start to learn how to love again and he wants to do it

with me-Emily" I explained, my voice cracking.

"Aww, don't cry sweetie. It will be okay." She said and I hugged her. I stopped crying.

"Back to business, well, the gang was planning on going on a triple date which includes you and so, its

going to be on Friday night" I told her.

"That's nice but you know.....mike. We can't leave him alone at home" she said and gave me a

sympathetic smile.

"Well, that's what I came to talk about. Scott suggested we could drop mike and Beth off at....."

"At whose house Mia?" She said.

"Ashley" I told her then she continued looking at me but then realization hit her.

"What?!!!! Ashley Benson. Nope. I ain't dropping my son with a death wish." She said which made me

laugh a little.

"That's what I also said but he said she had changed now and they were good friends." I tried

convincing her and then she sighed in defeat.

"Fine. But if anything happens to my son, I'm gonna kill her, okay?" She warned and I grinned nodding

my head.

"Yay" I said.

"I'll try and convince Eric with my method, if you know what I mean." she said and gave me a wink

which I rolled my eyes at. Typical Michelle. I called Beth down, then we said our goodbyes and then we

went home. I called Scott.

"Hey baby, how are you?" His husky voice greeted sending shivers down my spine.

"Good and guess what?" I said grinning.

"What?" He asked.

"I convinced her. She said she would drop mike off at Ashley's." I told him.

"That's my girl. Baby, I have to go. I'm in a meeting." He informed me and I frowned.

"Okay. Bye." I told him.

"Bye. Many kisses" he told me and I cut the call. I tucked Beth in and I also slept off sad.
