Expired milk was one thing I hated especially knowing your going to be late to work and also knowing

you won't eat again till the end of your job for the day and now, that's what happening to me. My milk

has expired and am not embarrassed to say it, instead am angry "ugh, this is so annoying" "whos

abbowing Mia?" my little sister, Elizabeth said. I and mum found her on the road when we were going

to new York after I told him I didn't love him. Fortunately, before mum died, they called us and said we

were safe because my dad was finally dead and I wouldn't say I was very happy to hear the news. Yes,

he made me loose the love of my life but common, he was still my father. "common Beth, let's go set

you up for school" and also me. My job isn't paying well and I also hate it cause the clients are so

annoying. Don't even get me started on my boss. She is a pain in the ass, sometimes I feel like

strangling her so she can know how much it hurt" Mia?" "Yes sweetie?" " your wearing me my singlet

on top of my uniform" "oh my gosh, sweetie am so sorry"

"Pack your things and get out", nope I was right, she is being a big bitch

"Excuse me?". "I said pack your stuffs and get out!"

"OK bitch. I have been holding this anger for so long. Your a bitch. A motherfucking bitch!!!"and then I

gave her the finger. I packed my stuffs and left "am so sorry Mia" "its OK Leah. It's not your fault. right

"Bye". I left the company and went home and started looking for a job. I didn't know time flew so fast

that Beth was back. Oh God, how am I going to tell her what happened "Mia!!!" "Beth!!" "Come here"

she ran and hugged me

"How was school?"

"School wos fwine"

"So did you make more friends?"

"Wes. His name wis wike"

"Mike?"

"Yes, wike". "Wow that's nice. So its not a she". "yes, wis a he" "ok, that's nice. Well why don't you go

freshen up and I'll make you to pb&j sandwiches" "OK" she said and jumped happily to her room. I

really need a job like badly.

"I can't call again to see how my bff is doing?. Well, that won't be nice of me." "Sorry Mia. Well, why

don't you come over sometime?" "Nah, am really busy" I lied. I can't allow her to see me like this

"common Mia?" "Sorry Michelle, I can't come. My job is really tight so I have to work. am so sorry" "its

OK. We might meet sometime" "Yeah. Well bye" "bye"and I hung up. now, I really need a job. I checked

the magazine and I saw they were hiring for a secretary but it was in Ryder enterprises and they were

paying really well. It could be another Ryder right?. I mean it isn't only him that answers Ryder right?

Well, am going to call the number.

Its ringing. Its ringing

"Good Morning, this is Ryder enterprises. How may I help you?" A strangely familiar voice said.

"Uhm, I wanted to apply for the secretary job" I said nervously.

"OK. Just tell me your details and I will tell you if you are hired or not". Well, that's fast.

"Uhm, am a graduate with a Ph.d degree in accounting and uh-"

"your hired. Thank God, at last. uhm, I mean. Your hired, you start on Monday morning by 8:30am.

Congratulations. Goodbye".

am so happy. When Beth is back, we are so going to celebrate.

"Mia, am back"

"hey sweetie pie. Well something good happened so we are going to celebrate so why don't you go

freshen so we can leave"

"yay, can we go out fow wice-cweam?" She said excitedly.

"Yes baby, we can go out for ice cream"

"stop it. so can he come?" She said with a hint of pink on her cheeks

the light wasn't there anymore

"OK, do you know where his house is?" her face lit up

"Who is it" a familiar voice said as I knocked on mike's door and then it opened revealing who I have

been hiding from, Michelle

She widen her eyes,

"Mia?. oh my God, Mia, you came. Gosh, how've you been?" and I continued standing there looking at

her frozen.

"OK, I guess" I said

"Come in, come in" and then gestured me to sit. She saw Beth and gave me a confused look.

"She's my adopted sister" and then I remembered why we actually came .

"Hey, do you have a son named Mike? "I said asking Michelle praying she says no but as always, the

universe is always against me.

"Yeah, I do and is your little sis name by any chance Beth?"

"Yup, short for Elizabeth" and then her face lit up,

"Mike has been asking me to take him to the park with Elizabeth so I was thinking, she's already here,

so why don't we just go right?" and knowing there's no way out, I agreed.

"Yeah, I think your right"

"So we Can catch up on things" she emphasized on things and me, I knew what she meant

"Mike!, Beth is here to see you"

"Really?" a little cute small voice said

"Yes, now come down so we can do to the park"

"Yay, OK. Am coming". now I had to explain everything to Michelle and I just pray she takes it well.
