"Well... Someone gave it to me," Dan thought of Abigail's request and lied.

He didn't mean to lie.

It was all for Abigail's surprise.

Liam raised an eyebrow. "Your girlfriend?"

Dan almost choked. "No, no..."

He wondered if Liam would do away with him if he said Abigail had given the food to him.

However, Liam didn't take his denial seriously and said, "Keep eating." Then he turned around and

walked to his office.

Dan could tell that Liam was miffed.

He stared after Liam and imagined how happy he would be after entering his office.

Once after Liam walked through the door, a strange smell greeted him.

He frowned and somebody pounced upon him. "Don't move! Play nice and give me all your money."

He stood there with his back to her and smilingly said, "I don't have money. Can I give you my heart?"

As he spoke, he whipped around and pressed the woman behind him against the wall.

"Do you want my heart?" He whispered in a magnetic voice in her ear.

Abigail leaned against the wall and grinned, "How do you know it's me?"

"Dan was eating outside, which was quite abnormal, and I saw the bag on the table after I walked in,"

Liam said, touching the tip of his nose to hers. With an alluring smile hovering upon his lips, he gazed

at her rosy lips and felt an urge to kiss her.

"Dan spoiled the surprise!" Abigail grumbled.

Liam gave a wicked smile and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"You want me to cook for you but it's too late, so I brought you the food I bought," Abigail answered.

Liam kept his flawless face inches from hers and said, "I just want to hear you say you miss me."

Looking squarely into Liam's eyes, Abigail wrapped her arms around his neck and said quietly, "I miss

you."

The next second, Liam kissed her.

Abigail was caught unawares by his sudden kiss.

But instead of drawing away from him, she kissed him back.

It was an affectionate kiss and Abigail didn't push the man away until she felt winded. "Go eat the

food."

"It'll get cold soon."

Liam pulled apart from her but didn't release her. "I just want to eat you now."

Abigail giggled, "Cut it out. You have to eat something before the meeting or you will have a

stomachache."

Lime still wouldn't let her go. He couldn't tell her how glad he was to see her there. "Then give me a

kiss," he said.

Seeing him acting as a child, Abigail smiled dotingly and pecked a kiss on his lips.

"Eat now."

Only then did Liam release her.

They walked to the sofa together and Abigail took the food out of the bag.

"Eat before it gets cool."

Liam sat beside her and started eating with a smile.

It'd been a busy day and he was indeed hungry.
