Chapter 8. Revenge

I was going to answer Tiffany when my phone rang and it was from butler. Just as I picked call he said

dad fainted while his nose was bleeding.

I was too scared on what I heard. He is the most precious person in my life. Without him my life is

nothing its meaningless.

I entered hospital and call my buddy. "Robin come to Freeman hospital." I cut the call and made my

way to emergency room.

"What happened to dad?" I inquired from butler while my heart and body was shaking in fear.

"Sir, he was coming downstairs for breakfast when he fainted and his nose start bleedind. Doctors are

examining him" he explained

At that time emergency room's door opened and doctor came out and hurried to him and demanded

"how is my dad? is he okay? Can I meet him?"

"Calm down young man.Yes you can meet him. He is fine now but next time you have to be careful his

blood pressure shoots up that's why he fainted." he said wile patting my shoulder and then left.

I was about to enter when Robin came while heavily breathing "Dude what happened you ask me to

come here is everything fine?"

I hugged him and said in raspy voice "Dad's BP shoot up and he is in the ward." He consoled me while

patting my back.

"Man uncle needs your support. You are his strength if you broke down like this than what will happen

to him?"

Yes he is right. I need to take revenge for my dad, for me. "Thank you buddy" I said while taking him

into a bear hug for last time and went to see dad.

I felt a sudden pain seeing dad lying weakly on white bed. This man gives me a new life, helped me to

come out of past and made me a successful man.

But I haven't even taken a small revenge for him. Am I worthy of his love? I am an ungrateful and

unfilial son.

I was in my thoughts when I heard dad's weak voice. "Don't let your imaginations run wild. You are my

proud"

Tears welled up in my eyes streamed down my cheeks. I hug him and sob like a child. "I am sorry dad"

"Cry baby you are suffocating my partner leave him so he will be able to catch breath" Robin's teasing

voice came from behind and I fake an angry look on him while laughing.

"Dad its time for our revenge. All the miseries that we suffered because of them I will pay back with

1000 folds." I said and my body became cold.

"Arthur they are your biological parents. Are you still going to take revenge" Dad spoke and I could see

pain in his eyes.

I hold his hand and kissed it "You are Robin are my only family. They are my enemies who used me.

And dad don't ever say that. You are my dad and no one can change this fact"

I felt his tense nerves ease on listening to me. "I want to sleep for some time"

Dad said and I know due to medicines his eyes became heavy. Me and Robin stood their silent in fear

of disturbing his sleep

Robin signaled me that he was waiting for me outside ward. I nodded my head.

As Robin left I arrange blanket on dad and was about to leave when he asked me something that I

never expected.

"Do you love that Tiffany girl?"
