Chapter 22. His Dark Secret

•Arthur POV•

Tiffany was in my arms and I was walking in the direction of my car. Dad had left long ago .

My men were taking Helen away when she yelled at me "You think that after knowing your dirty past

she will accept you? Hah... dream on... She will leave you b'coz you don't deserve any ones love. you

are a curse , a dark spot. You will never be happy after destroying my family."

I ignored her and took my wife to hospital. Her body is burning from high temperature.

•Tiffany POV•

Smell of medicines trickle my buds and my brows scrunched in dissatisfaction.

I opened my eyes slowly everything was blur. I blinked twice to see precisely. First sight my eyes

caught was white ceiling.

Huh!! where am I? I looked around to see it was a hospital room and I rewind what happened to me

from last night.

Arthur saved me from Ayan and I felt bad for him when I heard from that woman that she abandoned

him in such a young age. He has suffered a lot.

"How are you feeling? Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?" here comes the husky voice of my

husband.

Yes my husband I want this relation, I want him in my life and I will do my best to bring his true self.

"I am fine" I gave him a weak smile and he sat on the chair near my bed.

"Sorry wifey, I was late" his voice carried sense of guilt

"Its never too late" I said while giving my best smile to him. My throat was dry from not drinking water

as I haven't had anything since last night.

"Water"..

He filled glass with warm water from side table and make me drink it.

" There is still some effect of drugs in your body so doctor has suggested to leave you under their

observation for one day."

"hmm" I have no strength to talk and in return I only nodded my head.

"Eat something before sleeping. Uncle has send your favorite buns and dad delivered hot soup. it will

give you strength."

"But I don't feel like eating."

"Its my order and you are bound to obey my orders" hr made a stern face.

"Beast" I muttered under breath but I guess he heard it and gave me a cunning smirk.

He forcefully made me finish whole soup like a strict father. My heart warmed at his caring nature.

After eating I drifted into a slumber due to effects of medicine.

•Arthur POV•

After tucking her on bed I left her alone ordering guards to protect her.

Dad was waiting for me in VIP waiting room.

"Dad should I tell him about that. Will she leave me?"

"Son, relations are based on trust more than love. If you keep your past hidden from her and one day

when she came across it then her heart will break and at that point she might leave you."

He paused and looked straight into my eyes "But I have seen love for you in her eyes. When you love

someone from your core you will accept him with all his faults"

"Thank you dad for everything you have done for me and bringing her in my life. Now you have to go

home and take rest."

I hugged him in walked back to room where Tiffany was sleeping peacefully.

I lay on couch and then sleep overtook me.

•Tiffany POV•

At middle of night I heard voices and opened my eyes to see the person who disturbed my beautiful

sleep.

That voice was coming from couch. Arthur was crying in his dreams. I think he is having a nightmare

"Leave me, dont do this to me please."

"Mom I am afraid don't leave me here"

I sit on small space empty space on couch and hold his hands.

"You are fine Arthur, no one is going to leave you. I am here with you." I rubbed his hand and i n the

next second he pulled me in his embrace.

I was on top of him. Our position looks awkward. His grip on my hand was so tight and I was unable to

release it from his grip.

At last I give up and stayed there until I fell asleep.

•Arthur POV•

When sun rays hit my eyes I tried to turn to other side but I felt something warm on my body.

I opened my eyes to see the angelic face of my wife but how did she end up on top of me.

I picked her up and laid her on bed careful enough not to disturb her sleep and went to bathroom to

wash myself.

After completing my morning chores I enter into her room where she was admitted.

Tiffany was awake and her face hold a confused look which made her look like an adorable kid.

"You are up" I said and sit near her.

I wanted to laugh at her expression but I somehow managed not to laugh

"When are we going home"

"I have filled all the forms and you are discharged. Get ready we will be leaving now." I could see

happiness on her beautiful face.

"Give me five minutes" with that she ran to bathroom in the speed of lighting

After ten minutes we made our way out of hospital. I was driving car and I have planned to tell her my

secret today....

"Where are we going, this is not the route to neither of our house."

"You will know it soon."

After driving for an hour I parked car near beach side and took her there.

"Tiffany I want to tell you something" I am feeling hell nervous.

"Tell" she was looking at me curiously
