Chapter 18
Gina.
It was getting close to midnight as I finished the last batch of clothes I had previously washed.
I was tired and could hardly wait to get back to my room and have a little rest before morning comes.
It has been a very crazy day, and that is why I must finish flattening these clothes tonight, or else morning would be even crazier for me.
“You are still awake?” Samuel, who was going around to ensure that every task that was assigned that day had been completed, asked me.
“Yeah, but I am almost done,” I replied warmly.
“That’s good,” he said and was about to walk off when I called him.
“Excuse me, hmm… I’m so sorry about this morning,” I said to him, and that made him turn his full attention to me as a little smile danced around his lips.
“About that, what’s going on—are you in any sort of trouble with the triplets?” he questions with concern.
“No, just a little misunderstanding, but it has been handled,” I said, silently hoping that he wouldn’t question me further.
“That’s good to hear; are you planning to take your leave anytime soon?” he asks.
“Yeah, that will be on my birthday; I plan to go and spend it with my parents,” I said.
“And when is that?”
“March twenty-six,” I said, hoping that he would give me the go-ahead.
Since he is the one in charge of the staff, he must sometimes plan their off days so that there are always people on the ground to carry on while others are on their holiday.
Considering my current feud with the triplets, I don’t think I will be getting my freedom anytime soon.
“Wait, you share the same birthday with the future Luna?” He asked, unable to hide the surprised look on his face.
“Unfortunately, yes,” I said with a sigh; hearing Gwen’s name these days just has a way of putting me in a sudden bad mood.
“Wow! That’s cool,” he said as if there were something special about being born on the same day as Gwen.
“Thanks, I suppose,” I said, rolling my eyes at his dramatic exclamation.
“You are beautiful,” he said calmly.
So calm that if we weren’t alone and the night wasn’t so quiet, I would have missed it. His words caught me off-guard as I tried to think of how to respond to him without hurting his feelings.NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
If it is indeed true that he has any kind of feeling for me, then I should have been careful with my words around him, so I don’t hurt his feelings.
Even though I find him very friendly and homely, I am not certain that I like him enough to want to be intimate with him.
But as a friend, definitely yes.
“Thanks; you are not bad yourself,” I said with a little chuckle. And though it was already dark, I could see his cheeks heat a little.
“So tell me, how come you haven’t found your mate?” “I mean, you are over twenty-one and very good-looking,” I said, attempting to change the topic to something that, I felt, was serious.
“Well, maybe it’s because she is not twenty yet; who knows?” “The 26th of March might just be a day to look forward to,” he said, winking and smiling sheepishly.
The effect of what he had said got me thinking as I too considered the possibility of having him as my mate.
He is a nice guy and all, but I don’t think I feel as much connection with him as I do with the triplets. But if it has been destined that he will be my mate, there is little or nothing I can do about it.
I should even be grateful if I find a mate on that day-use some people spend years looking forward to finding that special one.
But at the same time, I would rather not be given someone that I do not connect with besides the mate bond.
“Best of luck to you; I hope you find a mate who is truly worthy of you,” I said with a smile.
“And you too; I hope you get the man of your dreams,” he said, and at that moment I was a bit reluctant to agree with his wish for me.
I don’t exactly know how I will feel if, accidentally, I eventually get the man, or should I say the “man of my dreams.”
It would be catastrophic.
I don’t understand how I can hate them so much and at the same time be crazy over them. I have been doing everything within my power to push aside what transpired between me and the triplets this morning.
Furthermore, I knew I had hurt them badly with my wrong choice of words, but what was I supposed to do? Being close to them is messing up my life more than it should.
The possible thought of all three of them cuddling Gwen at this very moment crossed my mind, and it honestly made me feel bad, but there is nothing I can do about it.
I am not going to lie, I do miss them a lot and I wish to be with them, but what is the use when they are out of my league?
“Are you alright?” Samuel inquired, his voice bringing me out of my thoughtfulness.
“Yeah, that means I am perfect,” I said, chuckling while attempting weak damage control with my blanking out on him.
“It seems you are done,” he said, pointing to the clothes I had carefully folded into various baskets.
“Yeah, I am done.” “Thanks so much; you made the work easier by staying with me,” I said in all honesty.
“I’m glad you enjoyed my company; lucky you, you have all your room to yourself this night,” he said casually.
“I don’t understand,” I said, a little taken aback by this new piece of information.
“Oh, I forgot to mention that your roommates are not around; they went to see their parents,” he said.
“All three of them?” I was surprised at this news. Because they didn’t mention wanting to go home to their parents last night.
Did he offer to have all my roommates leave because of his personal motives? Lord, it better not be what I am thinking.
“Yeah, what? “You should be happy; I mean, you have the entire room to yourself tonight,” he said, winking at me again.
“Yeah, thanks,” I said with a fake smile.
“Good night, Gina,” he said, placing both hands in his pocket as he confidently walked away.
“Good night, Samuel,” I replied, carrying all the baskets back to my room with the hope of distributing the clothes to the various owners by morning.
I walked back to my room, opened the door, and switched on the lights. I almost screamed out of fright when I found all three triplets standing and resting their backs against the wall with their eyes steadily on me.
“Hi,” Devon said with a straight gaze that makes me wonder how long he has been in there.
“What are you guys doing here?” I asked, unable to shake off my surprised look.
“I will advise you to keep your voice down; you want to avoid waking up the others, do you?” Derrick questioned.
“You are not supposed to be in here,” I said, wondering how the hell they got into my room without being noticed by the other servant.
“Well, we are now. Get used to it because we are spending the night,” Devon said, walking across the room to lie comfortably on my bunk bed.
“OMG, you guys sent my roommate away, didn’t you?” I said to them in realization,
“You are smart; you had us worried all through the day, and since you wouldn’t come to us, we decided to come and see you,” Devon said.
Now I know why I found it odd that all my roommates were away. Poor Samuel, I was so f*****g convinced for a moment there that he was the one behind my roommate’s sudden departure.
“What? You can’t; I mean, what if someone sees you in here?” I said that I was honestly scared that they might be caught.
No one is going to punish them; it is I that will be on the receiving end.
“Who? Your boyfriend? “You like him, don’t you?” Denver finally said, his cold voice enough to freeze a very hot summer holiday.
“That’s not your business,” I snarled at him, and I could feel the jealousy radiating from his eyes.
“Gina, please stop. “We have learned of all that happened between you and Gwen while we were away, and we are to apologize,” Derrick said.
His words and tune make me question why I was even mad at him in the first place.
They are sorry. A little voice whines excitedly inside my head.
Their presence in the room made the already small room feel even tinier, and honestly, I was asking myself why I shouldn’t just forgive them right now, so we could all k**s and make up
But again, to what end?
“What do you guys want from me?” I asked them frustrated.
“Isn’t it obvious?” “We want you,” Devon replied.
“You can’t want me; you guys already have Gwen, and I don’t want you guys,” I said, despite my heart secretly yawning for them.
“It doesn’t matter,” Devon said.
“What’s important is that we want you, and we came to help you sleep better since you have been walking all day,” Derrick said, giggling.
“What about Gwen?”
“Yeah, we thought about her, and that’s why this i***t and I here are going to make sure she doesn’t notice anything,” Derrick said while tapping Devon to stand up, so they can go out.
Denver remained seated where he was, not moving or saying another word.
“What about him?” I questioned, a bit scared of what might happen if they leave him with me.
“We are leaving him because he has an apology to make,” Devon said with a wink.
“We love you,” Gina, Derrick, placed a k**s on my lips before I could resist.
“Stop,” I said, trying to shut down the little sparks his k**s had ignited.
Is that your money on the floor? Devon asked.
I turned around to see what he was talking about, and he quickly used that opportunity to wrap his hands around me for a warm hug.
“We love you, Gina,” he said, gently brushing my neckline with his lips.
And just like that, they were out of the room, leaving behind Denver, the ice master.
As soon as his brothers left, he stood up and walked to the door to lock it.
“We need to talk,” he said, unbuttoning his shirt to reveal his nicely tattooed chest.
I gulped hard on my saliva as I tried to keep my eyes off his well-toned arms and biceps.
How the f**k he expects me to concentrate on what he is going to say when his seductive body is on display baffles me.
He did not completely take off his shirt as he walked back to where he had been standing before.
“First of all, I want to apologize for the way I spoke with you earlier; I was angry and jealous, and I lost it.” “I’m sorry,” he said, lifting his eyes to hold mine.
His apology sort of melted all the anger and walls I had built around myself as I found myself having the desire to be wrapped up in his hand.
“You are tired; why don’t you go and shower first? We will talk when you are done,” he said with a husky voice that left no room for arguments.
I went into the bathroom to take a shower, and if I must admit, I was a little disappointed that he didn’t come to join me.
It took me a lot of willpower not to touch myself while thinking of the sexiest things he could be doing to my body.
I came out to see him still standing where he was as I tried mopping out the remaining water from my hair.
“You should go to your room; you can’t possibly sleep here.” “I bear no grudges, and I am sorry too for the way I spoke to you,” I said after I noticed he was not going to say anything other than just stare at me.
“I am spending the night here with you; would you want that?” He questioned.
“I am not sure of what I want, but one thing I am certain of is that I don’t want trouble,” I said quietly.
“I will protect you,” he said, and something about the way he said it made me believe him completely.
I missed you, he said, taking gentle, slow steps towards me, and before I knew what to do next, my legs were off the ground as his lips took possession of mine.
f**k! Why does he have to be so strong?
Our lips tangled in a fiercer battle, as I could feel. His strong hands foam my entire body.
My body was hot, and my middle love hole was on fire. With my legs wrapped around him, I kissed him like his lips were the juiciest thing I have ever tasted.
Suddenly, he stops to look at him with unreleased passion in his eyes.
“You are so f*****g hot and wet,” he said, sniffling the air as if savoring the moment.
“I wish you were mine alone; I would have f****d you so hard right now that you are unable to stand on your both legs for at least two days,” he said, resting his head on my chest while still carrying me.
His voice, his words, and the heat radiating from his fine body drove me wild.
“f**k me,” I heard myself say, even if I’m f*****g knew that it was my throbbing p***y that was controlling my thoughts at that moment.
“I can’t; my brothers made me promise them that I wouldn’t touch you,” he said, gently walking towards the bunk bed.
“You need to sleep,” he said as he gently placed me on the bunk bed.
“Close your eyes; I want you to f**k yourself the way you would have loved me to f**k you,” he instructed, and instinctively my body obeyed his order.
