Gina, And Her Triplet Alphas

Chapter 12

Gina.

As I made my way downstairs, I couldn’t help having the feeling that I was doing the wrong thing.

I mean, it was so obvious that I had in one way or another fallen for the three dickheads, even when I knew that what my heart wanted could not be achieved.

The thought of who was going to end up as my mate flashed through my mind. Will he like me? Will he be nice to me?

Even though generally speaking, omega guys are known to be very friendly and fun to be with, I can’t help but hope that whoever this person may be should at least have a meaningful life purpose.

Omegas are mostly known to be content with what they have, but I have never belonged to that category of people. Thanks to my parents, I have learned to set goals and standards for myself.

I am not going to reduce my standard because of the mate bond. My mate and I must work hard to give our future pups the life they deserve.

As soon as I climbed downstairs, I saw Denver and Devon just walking in, and I tried not to make eye contact with them as I walked straight into the kitchen to meet Mrs. Wilson, who was still cooking.

Glad that I was alone in the only place I knew how to make myself happy, I joined Mrs. Wilson in preparing meals and snacks that everyone would need for the evening.

I had not realized how much time I had spent in the kitchen, but I guessed it must have been very long because when I looked out of the kitchen window, I noticed it was getting dark.

By this time, I had cleaned and Mrs. Wilson had set the table; not long after, I heard footsteps climbing down the stairs as they all made their way down to the dining room.

I deliberately kept myself busy in the kitchen as an excuse not to go and see the three dickheads, about whom I can’t help but have the feeling that they have been staring in my direction.

“Gina,” I heard one of the triplets call out, and due to the authority laced in the voice, I immediately knew it was Denver.

This would be the first time I would hear him shout out so loud, and I contemplated for a few seconds if I wanted to go out and meet him. But since I would rather not appear like I was disobeying him, I walked out after wiping my hands off the water.

As soon as I walked into the dining room, I couldn’t help but realize that the triplets had yet to touch their meals, except for Gwen, who appeared to be having the time of her life.

“We have been waiting for you,” Denver said in a more relaxed tone.

And even though I wasn’t exactly looking at his face or those of his brothers, I couldn’t help but feel the fact that all their voices were echoing through Denver’s voice.

“What do you want me to do for you?” I asked, trying so hard to keep my voice as formal as possible, so I wouldn’t send the wrong signal to Gwen, who was still busy with her phone and food.

I noticed that my inner self was bursting with excitement just by my mere presence with all three of them.

“Join us at the table.” Derrick was the one who replied this time.

And at that same moment, Gwen looked sharply at Derrick, as if asserting whether he was serious at that moment. But she was entirely ignored by the triplets, who had their eyes and attention fixed on me, which on a normal day should excite me.

But I was the complete opposite; I couldn’t help but feel like I was distracting the trio of alphas from their real mate. And the fact that she might be secretly hurting due to this made me decide that I wasn’t going to agree with what Derrick had said.

“I am not hungry, thank you,” I said politely before walking back into the kitchen to continue with what I was doing.

My stomach rumbling reminded me of the fact that I needed food as I had yet to eat anything all day, but with all that has happened today, food was the least of my problems.

After some time, I heard footsteps taking the stairs, and that sort of told me that they might be through with their meal. I was about to go out to clear the dishes when Gwen walked in.

Her eyes and countenance are not so friendly, as she stared at me with so much scorn in her eyes.

“What was that about?” she questioned, sizing me up and down with her extended fake lashes.

“What are you talking about?” I replied, pretending to be clueless about what she was talking about.

She just gave a halfhearted laugh before returning her evil-looking eyes to me.

“I don’t know what your little game is, and I seriously do not care, but if you think you can somehow manipulate your way into my triplet heart, I am genuinely sorry to tell you that you will be the one on the losing end, fatty. I’m sure you clearly understand the fact that we both are not the same when it comes to beauty, class, and social status, so I will suggest that you keep all this excess skin for someone in the same class as you because no alpha would be attracted to you like this and not my triplets,” she said before walking out of the kitchen.

As much as I wanted to hate her for what she said, I couldn’t help but agree that she was telling the truth.

The trio alphas can never agree to settle with someone like me, not because of my body size but because we are not on the same social level, and they will be her mate.

I finished what I was doing and headed back to the room I was to share with Mrs. Wilson. But as soon as I entered the room, I was surprised to see that she was all dressed up and was ready to go out.

“Are you going somewhere?” I asked the jolly, beautiful woman who was doing the finishing touches to her looks and bags.

“Oh, so sorry, dear, I got an impromptu call that my presence was urgently needed back home, but don’t worry, I will be back before you notice I am gone. Here is a number you can reach me at in case you require anything,” she said, handing me a piece of paper that contained her phone number before walking out of the room.

“How do you hope to get home this late?” I asked, genuinely concerned for her safety, as it was already very dark by now.

“Oh dear, you are so sweet, but don’t bother your little head; the triplets’ alphas have made all arrangements to make sure I get home safely,” she said with a beautiful smile as she walked out of the room.

I followed her outside and almost immediately regretted my decision because the triplets were waiting for her in the sitting room.

My body stiffened as soon as my eyes connected with all three of them. There was something so dark and tempting about the way their eyes kept their steady gaze on me.

“If you require anything, be sure to let us know, Mrs. Wilson,” Devon, who was the first to break eye contact with me, said something to the woman who was about to step out of the sitting room.

“Thank you so much; I will remember that,” she said politely, before walking out of the sitting room.

As soon as she was out, all eyes returned to me, and, by God, I have never been so nervous. I might be overthinking this, but deep down it felt as if the triplets had planned everything as regards Mrs. Wilson leaving in such a hurry.

My first thought was to go back to my room and lock the door before any one of them tried to stop me.

But I was wrong because the moment I tried moving an inch, I was soon surrounded by all three of them.

“And where do you think you are running to?” questioned Derrick as they all took even strides around me.

“What do you want from me?” I questioned, cautioning my body to resist the urge not to lean on them all for comfort.

“You already know what we want from you, Gina, and we are willing to do whatever it takes to have you,” Devon said softly.

“But you all already have a mate,” I said in my defense.

“She is our problem; we will take care of her,” Derrick said sternly.

“So what will I be to you people then?” I asked while directing my attention to him.

“Our girlfriend,” said Derrick,

I couldn’t help but realize that Denver had yet to say a word all this time. He has been quiet, and I soon realized that I needed to hear what he had to say.

“I don’t understand, but how can all of you be comfortable having just me?” I questioned.

“We don’t mind; we have always loved sharing,” Devon said.

“What do you want?” I addressed my question directly to the eldest, who has been quiet all this while.

“What do you think I want?” He questioned with his eyes fixed on mine.

“I don’t understand, but you all hated me back in high school; you all used to call me names. How can you all suddenly want me?” I questioned, still trying to process everything that was happening.

“You want an honest answer to that question?” questioned Denver.

I nodded my head and said, “yes,”Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

“It’s because we can’t help it; we feel so much connected with you. At first, we thought we could ignore our feelings, especially when we thought it was an individual thing. Until we realized that you are in our every thought, and the need to always be around you almost caused a rift between us. But we have all come to one agreement, and that is the fact that we can’t do without you.” He said and honestly, his words melted my heart, maybe it is because those were the longest words I have heard him say.

“So what happens after you get married to Gwen on her twenty-first birthday? What becomes of me?” I said, this time directing my attention to all three alphas.

“We can’t promise anything,” Derrick said, in a somewhat sad tune.

Even though I knew it was the bitter truth, it did not stop it from hurting my heart. But I knew that if I do not agree to their demand at one point or the other, they were found to continue bugging me, so I decided to make the most use of the opportunity.

“Well, if I am going to agree to go with you guys’ plans, I will need something in return,” I said to them and I immediately noticed how their eyes flickered with hope the moment I said those words.

“Name your price,” Denver said.

“I will agree to be with you guys on the condition that I regain my freedom on my twenty-first birthday and also that I am not made to do things against my wish,” I said to them.

They all stared at me for some seconds and from their dispensation, I could tell they were speaking with each other through the mind link.

And seriously, I wish I could hear what they were talking about.

“Why would you want to regain freedom?” questioned Denver, after some time.

“Why would you want to keep me as your slave when you would have been mates with your soon-to-be bride?” I questioned, partly angry with the fact that he has been selfish.

“Fine, we agree. You will be ours to use as we please, and you will be free from your current punishment to go wherever you want on your twenty-first birthday,” Derrick said.

“Thank you,” I said to them, even though I was a little uncertain of what is to come.

But knowing that the countdown to my freedom has officially begun made me excitedly look forward to my birthday.

“Meanwhile, your duty starts tonight; take a shower and meet us by the pool outside.” “Don’t be late,” Derrick said, and I nodded my head in agreement.
