“Wait, so you are going back to America?”

The crowd becomes quiet. They pretend that they are busy with something but it was so obvious that they are waiting for a possible couple fight to happen.

I shook my head. “Baby, I have commitments in the US that I can’t cancel. I was thankful for them for allowing me to reschedule my appointment with them because of dad.”

“But you didn’t tell me that you will go back there,” Andrew said in a serious voice.

“Didn’t eye?” I asked innocently.

His eyes widened a fraction. “Stop playing innocent, baby.” He said in a warning voice.

I cleared my throat. He is getting mad now. “Sorry, baby. But I thought you already expected this. And it’s not like I will be gone for months. I’ll go there every other month for only a week or two. I’ll still be coming back to you. I would love you to go with me but I know you are too busy with your schedule.” I said while peeking at his reaction.

I smile to myself when I saw him calming down. I can see the tamed smirk from the boys as they watch me winning our couple fight.

“When are you planning to go there?” Andrew asked more calmly now.

I look at him with the sweetest smile on my face. “Next month. I might stay there for a week or two depending on how fast I can finish my work and I also need to give instructions to my team in America.This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

He nodded understanding my point of view. “Fine, I’ll go with you then.”

Our jaw dropped from Andrew’s statement.

“Aren’t you busy?” I can’t help but ask.

He glared at me which I already expected. “I can just tell Anne to cancel all my schedule for next month and accompany you to the US. We can stay there for a month if you want to.”

Lance and Mike burst out laughing. “Andrew’s a whipped!” They both shouted.

All of us chuckle except for Andrew of course. I was surprised by Andrew’s action lately. He was different from before. Andrew is a very sweet guy but he was never a clingy type of guy. He always let me do what I want and waits for me after.

“Shut up! I’ll wait until you guys find someone to fall in love with, let’s see if you will not act like this.” Andrew said to defend himself.

“That won’t happen, dude! I’m not the clingy and whipped type. I will surely be in control, not the other way around.” Lance said with full conviction.

“Let’s see,” Andrew said then smirked.

After my most tiring meeting, I call my team to finalize our plan for the next cover.

“What about the guesting fee Ms. Allison? Did they share with you how much they are asking for the vlog guesting and interview?” Miya asked.

“Miya’s right Ms. Allison. I’m sure Vince and Andrew’s guesting fee will cost a fortune since they are one of the hottest stars right now.” Freya added.

“A thank you from me is enough for them,” I said cooly.

Their reaction is epic! They look constipated. They don’t know if they will take it as a joke or not.

“I’m serious guys. They were my friends. So they are willing to do it for free. But of course, we will still prepare a token for them.” I explained to them.

I smiled to myself as I remember how they told me that they are willing to do all this for free.

“Are you going to pay us for guesting on your vlog and cover in the magazine?” Lance asks after I finish presenting them the whole plan.

“We have a budget for that don’t worry. Though some would be willing to guest on my vlog for free and doing a cover for Stellar magazine.” I answered him.

“Is that Noah?” Lieo asked to confirm.

“He’s one of them especially since he’s also an investor of Stellar. But some celebrities do this cover and guesting for free, most of them were the top supermodels who I became close with, thanks to Noah.” I said.

Good thing I have already shared with Andrew that Noah is one of the major investors of the magazine. It took a lot of explanation before he finally accepted the fact and deal with it. I think going back to America with Andrew is a good idea. Andrew will get to know more about Noah and vice versa. Andrew will realize that Noah is just like Charles.

“Don’t mind your cousin’s question, Alli. He’s just teasing you. Of course, we will do this for free. You’re a family.” Vince said with pure sincerity.

I really appreciate having friends like them. They are indeed a blessing for me. Who would have thought that all these things will happen to me? Two or three years ago I was just a regular sales employee, working my ass off to reach my sales target and earn a commission. But now, I’m working in the fashion industry as editor-in-chief, an influencer thanks to my vlog, and an ambassador of many luxury brands.

I only dream to work in media but God gave me more than I asked for.

I was back from daydreaming when my phone rang. It was Lieo.

“Hey, Lieo!” I greeted him.

‘Hey, Alli! I’m just wondering if you have plans for tonight?’ Lieo asked.

“I don’t have plans tonight since Andrew has a recording,!” I answered him.

‘Great! You are free then. I would like to invite you for dinner, I want you to meet someone. She was a fan of yours.’

My brow furrowed. A girl? Does she have a girlfriend that I don’t know of?

“Is that your girlfriend?” I can’t help but ask.

‘No, silly. She’s married. Remember Mich?’

My mouth formed “o”. “Yes, I remember her! She was your ex-girlfriend.”

“Yes, but she’s also a good friend of mine. So are you in?”

“Sure.”

I texted Andrew telling him about Lieo’s invitation. As usual, it took a long explanation before he allow me to go with Lieo.

Mich is a beauty. I’m no longer surprised why Anne was jealous and insecure of her before. Contrary to Anne’s description of Mich, I find her a very nice and sociable person.

“I can’t believe I’m meeting you in person. Imagine my shock when Lieo told me that you guys are friends.” Mich said while we are having dinner.

“Is that really surprising? I mean, Lieo’s friends with my cousin so it’s only natural for me to be friends with him.”

Mich nodded and smile at me. “Well, you have a point. But I was just surprised that you guys are close because someone is so obsessed with him and acts like his girlfriend that’s why many girls are finding it difficult to approach or be close with Lieo. Good thing that girl already accepted her defeat and found her new prey.”

I saw Lieo glaring at Mich. “Mich stop that.” He warned her.

“What? I’m just telling the truth. Are you really not going to tell your friend, Andrew about that girl?!”

My eyes widened a fraction from what she just said. I look at Lieo to ask for an explanation.

He looks at me then he sighed. “I already told Andrew about it but he won’t believe me. I did not insist on it since I know that Anne will never win his heart because I know how much Andrew loves you.”

“But what are saying about Anne? And how did my boyfriend become her new prey? ” I asked feeling so lost with the conversation.

“Wait! What? Allison already has a boyfriend and it’s none other than Andrew Lopez?” Mich asked completely shocked.
