Chapter 1 Has the Boss Abandoned You?

The Tang Dynasty was finished filming today, and the crew booked a few tables in a well-known

restaurant.

As the drama's first protagonist, Harriet was naturally being invited.

After a few glasses of drinks, Harriet Clark was dizzy. She found a cornered seat to sit and pulled out

her mobile phone from her handbag, wondering if Wesley had been back as he had been on a

business trip for a month.

It was when she took out her mobile phone, there was a shadow crossing before her. A man sat next to

her.

It was the director Eric Black.

"Harriet, you have been an excellent actress in the drama." Eric Black approached Harriet as he said.

He was in his forties, personable and good-shaped as he seemed to work out a lot. A strange glow

appeared in his eyes.

"Thank you, Mr. Black." Harriet smiled and moved aside without being noticed.

Director Eric tried to stick it to her and whispered, "I will make a movie in a few months, and I would like

to continuously employ you as a heroine. What do you think?"

Harriet smelled the unpleasant scent of wine and sweat from his body, and moved to the side, saying,

"Eric, I appreciate your idea, but I just graduated from the art school lately. I don??t think I am

competent to be the first heroine."

Harriet looked around to perceive the reaction from people.

They pretended to chat with others, but fell their eyes on her and Eric Black with contempt from time to

time.

Harriet didn't have any great works at the art school. When she debuted, she took over the heroine in

the TV series which was invested with 80 million. Of course she would be considered as somebody??s

lover since she played the protagonist.

"Well, I think your acting skills are very good." Eric then asked in a low voice, "I saw that you arrived the

filming site on motor home for a period of time. Did the boss abandon you???

Harriet just answered with no words.

She would rather the boss throw a cheque of tens of millions on her face and dump her.

She had expected its happening for a long time, but it was just not achieved.

And when Eric saw perceived Harriet??s silence, he considered what he guessed was true. He got

more courage, "Harriet, I appreciate you very much, no matter your acting skills or your personality. If

you can sleep with me for a week, the heroine will definitely be you. I can even introduce you to Mr.

Wesley!"

"Mr. Wesley?" Harriet finally moved a little with her eyebrows raised, showing her interest to know more

information.

"Yeah, the boss of Pop Culture Company is also my friend!" Eric Black thought that Harriet, a young girl

who had just left the school, would certainly not know about such a bigwig.

Eric Black kept boasting, "My film is invested by his branched company Pleasure Media, and he often

invites me to dinner. Many of ladies he womanized were from me."

"If you are willing to be my lover, I'll introduce you to him. If he fancies you, you will get all fame and

wealth in the rest of your life. Maybe I have to do you favors in the future!"

Just then, Harriet's cell phone rang.

When Harriet took out her mobile phone, Eric Black glimpsed the words "Wesley" on the screen.

While Eric Black still stunned, Harriet had finished answering the phone, got up sharply, picked up her

handbag, and smiled at Eric Black, "I'm sorry Mr. Black, I have to leave right now."

"Sure... Sure."

Eric Black watched Harriet leaving the room, still thinking the call.

At the beginning of the filming, someone sent Harriet??s profile to Eric. He thought that the girl must be

someone's lover, but he hadn't seen Harriet on any luxury cars.

He saw Harriet in beautiful dress today and just couldn't help flattering with her, but the phone that

Harriet answered almost shocked him.

"The call is from Mr. Wesley, Is he the one on the business news?"

Harriet didn't care about Eric Black??s curiosity. After returning to a senior district by the motor home,

she took the elevator upstairs, swiped to open the door and got in. The apartment was completely dark.

"Fortunately, the man hasn't arrived yet.??

Harriet hurriedly changed her shoes and rushed to the kitchen to take out fresh ingredients from the

fridge, boiled water in the pot, and cut vegetables.

The next second, she was hugged by the man from the back.
