Dangerous Billionaire

Chap 81

welcome Elsa

Their Penthouse is one of the tallest buildings in Singapore with six bedrooms. It also includes a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and a private garden with city views.

The elevator door opened. Daniel guided Jessica to walk with him. Daniel opened the door and entered a room.

“Mr. Daniel, Great Master has been waiting for you in his office,” a maid, who greeted his arrival, said.

“Yes, I will see him soon! Elsa, come with me!” he asked kindly. He always showed great affection for his sister.

Daniel walked over to his grandfather’s office. The 63-year-old was waiting for him. He never sent a message or made a phone call. Fredy Kim always had a spy who would watch over and look after his grandchildren.

The door opened.

Elsa walked across Daniel with an uneasy feeling. Is Daniel Kim really his brother? Then who will she meet?

Jessica’s sense of sight was fixed on a man who was sitting on his throne. There are mountains of books. Jessica began to guess if it was possible that the old man in front of her had read all those books. Jessica swept her gaze across the room, on the left wall there was a photo of a married couple. Her face was familiar to Jessica, the photo is a wedding photo of her parents.

“You two have finally arrived! I’ve been waiting a long time.” Fredy Kim started the conversation by looking at her granddaughter.

“I’m sorry we’re late,” Daniel said as he led the way.

“Thank you, Daniel. You’ve brought Elsa home, now I can feel a little relieved and not feel guilty anymore,” he revealed.

“You’re welcome,” Daniel said.

“Daniel, you go out first, wait until lunchtime. I want to talk to Elsa alone!” their grandfather said.

“Good,” Daniel nodded. After staring at Elsa for a few seconds, he came out of his grandfather’s room.

Silence. Both Jessica and Fredy Kim stared at each other. “Come here my granddaughter,” the old man asked in his characteristic hoarse voice.

Jessica approached. Meanwhile, this old man got up from his seat and gestured for his granddaughter to follow him to the sofa.

“Elsa, my granddaughter, you are alive!” the old man said. Now, he walked over and hugged the young woman in front of him.

Jessica was silent, not daring to say anything else in return for this oldman’s embrace. However, both of her eyeballs look closely at the photos of his parents. Yes, Jessica remembered that face, the face of her late mom and dad.

Fredy Kim unraveled his hug. “I bet you feel confused, right? My name is Fredy Kim, and I’m your grandfather! Your name is Elsa Daniar Kim, my only granddaughter,” the man explained, still looking closely at his granddaughter.

“You see that picture?” Fredy Kim showed a photo that Jessica had seen earlier. “They are Darren Kim, my only son and my daughter-in-law, Marisa Kim. Both of them are my children who are now gone,” he said, staring at the portrait of Elsa’s late parents.

“Sir.” Jessica called awkwardly.

“Call me Grandpa!” Fredy Kim interrupted.

“Grandpa,” he whispered.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

“Yes, what is it, my granddaughter Elsa?” he said warmly.

“Sorry, I still need to adapt. A lot of things I don’t understand,” Jessica admitted. Yes, she was not used to being the granddaughter of Fredy Kim. During this time she always lived to be Jessica who lived and grew up in an orphanage. A woman who married Lexi.

“Naturally, I don’t want to demand anything from you. I just want you to be able to be here living with me and your real family members. There are Daniel and David who will teach you in many ways. They will also protect you from Ricardo’s son.”

Although they just met, her grandfather already knew all the life journey of his granddaughter, until she married the son of the Ricardo family.

“You mean my husband?” Jessica asked. Legally and religiously, they are still legally husband and wife. There is no word of divorce between them.

“No, he’s not your husband anymore. I took care of your divorce, Elsa. One more thing, your name is not Jessica, but Elsa Daniar Kim. So, from now on live as Elsa. You’re not Jessica anymore, do you understand?” Discussing Ricardo’s family made Fredy Kim sick. Until that time, he had not received enough evidence that they were the masterminds of Elsa’s parents’ accident two years ago.

“Elsa, that sick man doesn’t deserve you as a husband of yours. He took your honor, making you his sex slave. And after you give them a baby, they will just throw you away!” There was an emphasis as an expression of regret. Fredy Kim did not accept Lexi’s treatment of Jessica.

Jessica refrained from saying anything. She wanted to defend Lexi, but what her grandfather said was the truth.

“From now on, live to be Elsa. Erase all your memories with that young Ricardo. He’s not worthy of you Elsa!” Her grandfather lowered his head, thinking of Lexi made him want to destroy Lexi until they couldn’t touch Kim’s family members anymore. He didn’t want his granddaughter still in a relationship with that guy.

Jessica smiled. Lexi was that bad. He also only pretended to love her to get a baby. However, Jessica could not avoid it if she had fallen for the evil man. Yes, she has been enchanted by the attitude and also the charm of Lexi Ricardo

“From now on you can start your life as a Kim family, you can apply for college, and I will continue to support your desire to learn many things, and you can also plan your own business or you can also join the Kim Foundation and Kim Corporation. You can do whatever you like as long as it’s a good activity and makes you happy, I won’t forbid it!” Fredy Kim explained.

“Thank you, grandpa!”

“Later we will talk again. There is Mia who will help you while you are at home and for other things, you can ask your brothers Daniel and David, they will be happy to teach and help you Elsa.” Fredy Kim felt relieved with both eyes always sparkling because of his granddaughter now in his home.

“Okay,” Jessica replied.

“Wait, don’t come out yet!” her grandfather stopped her.

“Yes.” Jessica stood facing this old man.

“I’m sorry for what happened to you, Elsa. In the afternoon, dr. Noah’s gonna come and give a medical check on you.” Always, Fredy Kim always looked at her only granddaughter warmly.

“Oh, okay,” Jessica came out of that room, she immediately welcomed by Mia.

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel were sitting on the porch. Both of them were waiting for news from Lexi and Arsene. Mrs. Anna looked upset. She walked back and forth worrying about Jessica, while Mr. Samuel just sat quietly. He was still wondering who took Jessica away? Why did the daughter-in-law run away?

Mr. Samuel’s phone rang. There was a phone call from one of his employees.

“Hello,” Mr Samuel greeted.

Mrs. Anna immediately sat down and listened to her husband’s conversation with the person on the other side of the phone.

“Sir, I have sent documents and photos about Miss Jessica’s family, maybe it will arrive at your house soon,” said the man on the other side of the phone.

“Well, thank you!”

The phone call ended.

Less than five minutes later, the security guard of residence of Mr. Samuel’s house walked up to them with a brown box.

“Mr. Samuel, here is a package for you!” he said as he held out the package box politely.

“Thank you.”

“What is it?” Mrs. Anna asked.

Instead of answering the question from the wife, Mr. Samuel was busy opening the package. Could it have something to do with Jessica’s leave?

The package has opened successfully. Samuel took the picture inside. Yes, the same photo that Daniel Kim has. The first grandson of the Kim family gave it to Mr. Samuel’s subordinates.

Mr. Samuel began to look at the photos one by one that were in it. The first is a photo of Jessica when she was six years old, the second is still a photo of Jessica when she lived with her family. The last photo he took was of Jessica with her parents.

Both Mrs. Anna and Mr. Samuel stared at that photo, a photo that showed Jessica’s parents. They knew the couple. Yes, they are Darren and Marisa, their former employees who died in an accident.

“Daddy,” Anna whispered with trembling lips. Is this a predestined fate? Jessica turned out to be the daughter of an employee as well as her best friend.

“Mom, Jessica is Elsa, the little girl, did not die in the accident Mom,” Mr. Samuel said, holding back his tears.

Feelings of sadness, emotion, disappointment, and regret combined in their hearts. They still did not think that Jessica was Elsa, the granddaughter from the Kim family.

“Is that the reason Jessica left us, because she had already met her real family?” Mrs. Anna asked.

Mr. Samuel did not answer as he was still immersed in his own thoughts.

Lexi and Arsene were on their way back home. Arsene sat behind the wheel, focused on running the car in a crowd of highways this morning. While Lexi, sitting in the back seat with a feeling of anxiety. He just realized he was still wearing home clothes, and had gone to the airport. He didn’t care about his looks.

Only Jessica, Jessica, Jessica, in his mind. The beautiful face of the wife was always present, even when he opened and closed his eyes. The tightness in his chest had not diminished in the least.

“Sir, I’ve already met the journalist I told you about yesterday!” Arsene tried to start a conversation.

“Is there anything suspicious? Could it be that my father prevented the article from being released? I doubt, on the one hand I’m not sure my dad committed that crime. Oh hell, why do all the clues seem to indicate that he was involved in the accident!” Lexi was frustrated. He sat down and tried to control himself.

“The leadership, Jakarta News did not give permission for the news to be published, or it remained published by not containing all the information.” Arsene explained what the middle-aged man he met yesterday explained.

“Who is the leader?” Lexi asked, hoping to get information as soon as possible. He wanted to know the truth, and immediately determined a plan to meet with Jessica.

“Mr. Bayu, Cassandra’s father.”

There were three possibilities. And that was the reason why both of his parents were still working together today with Casandra’s family. It was his father who told Mr. Bayu not to post the article, or someone else told Mr. Bayu! The third possibility, it was Pak Bayu’s own wish that the article about the death of a married couple of the Kim family was not published in the newspaper.
