“I managed to get back on my feet after their betrayal. That’s why I’m like this. I find it so hard to trust people, I detest women a lot and I became really brutal and heartless until I met you.” My heart almost skipped a beat when he said that.

Ana must be so stupid to ever think of or betray him. I have just been with him for a month but I know that he’s always true to his words.

“Don’t worry Damian. No matter what happen, or whoever tries to pull us apart, I’ll never ever leave you.” I muttered as I wrapped my hands around his neck.

“Promise?” He asked as he raised his head upwards to stare at me.

“I promise. I answered with a smile playing on my lips.

“And I swear that no matter what happens, I’ll never let you go.” He said.

“Now that we’ve both made this promise to ourselves, we have to seal it.” I said.

“How??” He asked with one of his brows raised, making him look so irresistibly hot.

“Probably with a kiss?” I asked with a small grin.

He chuckled softly before pressing his lips against mine. I sighed in ecstasy as his lips met with mine. We were like that for some seconds before he pulled away.

A whine almost left my mouth when his lips lost contact with mine but I held myself. I didn’t what to seem like a sex maniac.

“Is that enough for us to seal our promise?” He asked, staring at me with his insanely beautiful hazel eyes which made butterflies flutter in my tummy. I couldn’t hold myself back anymore.

“No.” I muttered and pressed my lips against his again, engaging him in a very deep kiss.

We were currently in the car, driving past the beautiful streets of Paris.

“Beautiful isn’t it?” I heard Damian’s voice and turned from the beautiful view to the gorgeous looking man seated beside me.

“Yes.” I answered with a small smile in which he returned back.

“Don’t worry. You’ll be seeing more of this soon.” He said as he placed his large palm on my lap.

He didn’t stop there, he went as far as stroking my exposed skin that wasn’t covered by my skirt. My breath hitched when he did so. He seemed really calm like he didn’t realize he was torturing me.

I started to suddenly feel hot despite the air conditioner running in the car. I couldn’t take the heat anymore, so I rolled down the window glass sighed as the breve blew my face. It felt very refreshing.

“Are you alright?” Damian asked me in a really concerned tone.

“How can I be alright when you’re torturing me right now????” I wanted to scream at him but I held it in.

“Yes.” I answered instead.

“Ok.” He answered before turning his attention back to his phone and kept stroking my exposed lap.

I took in a large gulp and tried to hide the ecstasy I was feeling for the rest of the ride.

I stood like a statue and looked around the in awe. This was by far the most beautiful hotel I have ever been to before. Well, it’s not like I’ve ever been to one before but you know what I mean.

I was waiting for Damian who was busy conversing in French with the female receptionist. A frown made its way to my face when I noticed she was flirting with him.

I didn’t understand what they were saying but I could notice because of the flirtatious smile and look she was giving him in which Damian didn’t notice.

Damian collected a key from her, probably for the hotel room and made his way towards me.

“Let’s go princess.” He said as he held my hand and dragged me away carefully with him.

I took a peek at the receptionist and didn’t fail to notice the dumbstruck look she had on her face. She must be thinking that she’s very stupid because she was flirting with someone that didn’t even notice her sly antics and was obviously taken.

I gave her a victorious smirk in which she returned with a very deep from. I didn’t mind her and turn to face forward.

Damian led me to the elevator and we got in together. He clicked on a button and the elevator started going up.

Suddenly, I heard him chuckling.

“What’s funny?” I asked as I looked up to stare at him.

“it’s really hilarious to see you get jealous princess.” He answered with a smile playing on his lips.

Wait ….. don’t tell me noticed that the receptionist was obviously flirting with him.

“It’s hard not to notice when she’s doing it without shame.” He said like he had read my thoughts.

“Why did you act like you were oblivious to her act?” I asked as a frown was gradually forming on my face.

Huhh?? I wanted to say something when the elevator door opened.

He held my hand and led me out again until we stopped in front of a door in which he opened with the key. Then, we entered it.

I followed closely behind him, my mind was filled with curiosity.

“What did you say to her?” I asked.

“You really want to know??” He asked as he halted and turned to face me.

“Hmmmm.” I hummed with a nod.

He leaned towards me like he wanted to whisper something. I stared at him in anticipation.

“No comment.” He finally said with a smile.

Really??? Is he seriously playing with me right now??

“Just tell me because the curiosity is eat…….” My words were muffled when I felt his warm lips on mine.

He pressed deeper before he finally let me go.

“I said a was already taken by someone more worthy than she is.” He said before he left me standing motionlessly like a statue.
