Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 972

Theodore's voice was calm, without a trace of grievance. Compared to Sebastian, he seemed somewhat upright and just.

Rosalie was truly exhausted. It wasn't the first time Sebastian and Theodore fought. The last time they fought in the restaurant, they had even ended up at the police station.

Rosalie knew that their entanglement would never end no matter which side she stood on. This fight would certainly not be the last one.

'Theodore, Sebastian, you're both adults. You need to take responsibility for your actions. I can't do anything about you fighting. Once, twice, three times-it's always the same. What more can I do? As for who is right and who is wrong, I can't tell, if you two are determined to fight, then go ahead. Whoever starts the fight, the other should fight back. I'm not your mother. I can't clean up your mess and go to the police to bail you out every time."

Sebastian opened his mouth, wanting to say something. However, he was frightened into silence by Rosalie. He could only direct all his resentment toward Theodore.

This time, Rosalie didn't defend Sebastian. Even so, Theodore wasn't going to let him off so easily.

So, Theodore said, "Rose, don't you want to know why I hit him? Do you believe that I just hit him the moment I saw him?

Theodore, what do you want? Don't make up stories," Sebastian quickly interjected.

Make up stories? Sebastian, are you feeling guilty? Are you afraid I'll tell Rose that you barged into my house with a group of people and held a gun to my head?Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Rosalie was shocked. "Seb, is this true? Did you really do that?"

Sebastian frowned and immediately tried to defend himself.

"Rose, don't listen to his nonsense. How could I do such a thing? I admit I brought people with me, but they were my bodyguards and were there to protect me. I just wanted to talk to Theodore and ask where you were. I had no ill intentions. Everything he's saying now is exaggerated and made up."

Sebastian spoke with incredible sincerity. Each word was filled with seriousness, and he looked innocent.

Rosalie turned her head to look at Theodore. "Is what he said true?"

Theodore stepped forward and said. "It's not true/ Rose, whether you believe me or not, this is the truth. He almost killed me. If I hadn't grabbed the gun in time, I would probably have been killed by him!"

Rosalie's mind was in a complete mess. Was this really true? Did Sebastian really want to kill Theodore?

Both men stuck to their version of the story. She didn't know who was lying and who was telling the truth.

One of them was her childhood sweetheart who had hurt her terribly, and the other was her close friend who had been by her side during her most painful times.

After thinking for a long time, Rosalie finally looked up at Theodore. "Could it be that you thought Sebastian wanted to kill you?

She felt that Sebastian wouldn't actually kill Theodore. After all, they were in Melrine. Being a foreigner, such a bold act would be out of character for Sebastian.

It seemed Rosalie's reaction was within Theodore's expectation. He had held onto a small sliver of hope, but now it was all gone. Every time, without exception, she would always believe Sebastian.

"Can't you believe me just once? Why do you always doubt me and think I'm lying?' he said.

"I don't think you're lying," Rosalie explained. "I just feel that the situation back then was a bit tense. Whether it be you or Sebastian, I think you two may have overestimated things and misunderstood each other. Isn't that the case?"
