Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 905

Rosalie sobbed uncontrollably while she drove. She didn't know how long she had been driving when a sudden wave of nausea hit her. She stopped the car by the road and hurried out of it.

It was only then that she realized she had driven to the edge of a river. The area was desolate, with no one in sight, and she had no idea where she

was.

Rosalie crouched by the river, dry heaving.

The thought of Theodore and Aurora's intimacy made her feel sick. She knew she shouldn't feel this way, but she couldn't control herself.

They could never meet at the right time. As it turned out, Theodore didn't even know they had a child. Today, she had planned to tell him, only to learn that Aurora was pregnant with his child.

It seemed like every time they were about to discuss something important, they were interrupted or stopped by something else. It was as if the world didn't want them to be together.

First there was Cynthia, and now there was Aurora. There would always be women around Theodore.

Back when things between her and Theodore hadn't escalated to this point, Theodore had told her he loved her and wanted to win her back. Rosalie had truly been moved.

However, she never felt secure. The sense of security Theodore gave her wasn't even close to what she felt with Sebastian.

She always felt as though she wasn't the only one for Theodore. Cynthia was always between them.

Looking back now, her instincts were right. Now, not only did Cynthia stand between them, but now there was also Aurora.

Suddenly, gunshots rang out, startling Rosalie. She immediately thought of the news reports of shootings in Melrine. She couldn't believe she had encountered such a thing.

She had been here for months without incident. Most people were kind and polite.

Now, faced with this situation, Rosalie was terrified. She scrambled to her feet, opened the car door, and prepared to leave.

More gunshots followed, blowing out her tires.

The car swerved.

With a loud crash, the window shattered, and a large hand reached inside to open the door.

Rosalie was yanked out of the car by several men, and a cold gun was pressed to her head.

"Ah!" Rosalie screamed, trembling as she spoke. "I... I have money... My wallet is in the car. You can take it, take all of it, but please let me go. I'm begging you, let me go! I'm just passing through! I don't know anything!"

Under the dim streetlight, Rosalie couldn't see the men clearly. She could only hear them murmuring among themselves.

Then, Rosalie felt herself being dragged away.

"Let me go! Let me go!" Rosalie kept shouting for help.

A man slapped her across the face. "Shut up, or I'll kill you!"

The cold muzzle was pressed directly against Rosalie's lips. The slap was so forceful that she nearly fainted, and her face burned with pain.

Swney

She didn't dare scream anymore and could only watch helplessly as she was dragged into a building. With a thud, she was thrown to the ground.

A group of men, about seven or eight of them, stood around her.

They looked foreign, and their menacing demeanor, along with the guns they carried, made it clear they were dangerous people.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

"What do you want from me?" Rosalie's eyes were filled with terror.

Just then, a cold male voice pierced the night and fell upon everyone's ears.

"If you're going to kill me, why bother bringing a woman along? Are

suddenly feeling charitable? Do you

wandto give me one last thre

I die?"

The chilling voice cut into Rosalie's ears like a blade. She looked in the direction of the voice and saw a tall figure standing in the shadows, his features unclear.

"She arrived right after you did, Vincent. You two are obviously working together."

"Working together?"

Vincent's voice had a Briusian accent, each syllable exuding a lazy elegance that was particularly pleasing to the ear.

"You idiots must be really dumb to think I'd bring a woman along to drag me down."

The men exchanged suspicious glances at Vincent. He was known to be cunning, treacherous, and capable of anything.

At first, they thought the woman was also an assassin, but after dragging her out of the car, they realized she was nothing but a coward.

"Well, since the two of you aren't working together, we'll have our fun with her first, then kill her. You two can be companions in hell."
