Chapter 359
Chapter 359
Finley sat on the ground in the playground and stared at her phone.
She looked at Allison with aggrievance and said, “See, stimulation doesn’t work for him.”
Allison also noticed that Bryan had withdrawn from the group chat. She comforted Finley, “Men are awful. Forget them, and we will have a bright future.”
Finley let out a long sigh. She rested her chin on both hands, looked at the students running on the playground, and said, “Is your Mr. Thomas awful?” Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
“Of course not. My Mr. Thomas is a good boyfriend.” Allison became shy and excited at the mention of Calvin.
It seemed that she did fall for Calvin.
What about me?
What should I do with Bryan?
Ding!
Finley’s cell phone rang.
It was a call from an unknown number.
Finley answered the call. “Hello.”
“Hello, are you Leon? It is a call from the human department of the Turner Group. You are the champion in our perfuming competition. Do you like to work as a perfumer in our company? We can
provide you with your own laboratory…”
“When shall I sign the contract? I am in.” Finley accepted the offer decisively.
It was a dream for every perfumer to work in the Turner Group. Many people wanted this job but didn’t get this opportunity.
Never would Finley miss her shot because of her fight with Bryan.
“Great. Leon, it is said that you are still a student. If so, you can only work as a part-timer. Is that okay? You are responsible for making perfumes and don’t need to follow the prescribed work shift.”
“Okay.” Finley nodded. How humane and reasonable this arrangement was!
Bryan was a good business leader but a bad lover.
“Well, please come to our headquarters at 3 p.m. today for paperwork.”
“Okay, thank you. I’ll be there on time.”
Finley looked up at the blue sky after hanging up the phone. She felt great at that moment.
“Finley, do you plan to work as a perfumer in the Turner Group?” Allison vaguely heard the whole conversation on the phone.
“Yes, that is my dream. I will take advantage of the Turner Group to produce the most popular perfume for the world,” Finley stood up and talked about her dream under the sun.
Finley would fight for her dream with the rest of her life.
Looking at the energetic Finley, Allison felt worshipful. “Finley, I wish that you can fulfill your dream. My mom told me to learn acting. I don’t know what a real dream is. My mom doesn’t like me to play games. She thinks that I shouldn’t waste my life on that thing.”
“Gaming can be a dream. Let’s work hard together.”
“Work hard together…”
The two girls stood on the stairs in the playground and shouted.
With two cans of coke in his hands, Evan stood not far away, stared at Finley intently, and pouted. “Childish! Who can realize his dream by shouting?”
It was three o’clock in the afternoon.
Finley removed her ugly birthmark. Neat and youthful, she wore a white dress and walked into the building of the Turner Group.
