Caught Between The twin CEO

Paxton tucked his shirt and pulled his blazer from his hanger. He placed it on his bed and reached for his tie. He knotted it in less than two minutes and then he was done.

He pulled the blazer to himself and was about to go out when Syndey walked into the office.

“You are going already? I bought us lunch” Sydney said.

“Sydney I am deadly late for this meeting,” He said and she shook her head sadly.

“Fine. I will take a little” He said and she nodded smiling.

“Good of you. Now come join me” She said holding his hand.

He smiled widely looking at her as she walked.

“Stop staring.” She said as her cheeks flushed.

“You look beautiful.” He teased and Sydney laughed.

“Can you please stop?” she said as they got to the desk. He sat down and she began to serve him.

“Come in!” He said and the door opened to reveal an employee.

“Good Afternoon sir” She greeted and Paxton smiled picking up his cutlery.

“Good Afternoon Ruby, you look amazing,” Paxton replied and Ruby’s eyes widened in shock. This was the very first time he would compliment her look.

“I called to tell you about the meeting at 10 am today, but all your lines were not reachable.

That is why I came to pick you up, sir. It is starting less than an hour.” She explained and Paxton furrowed his brows.

Jaxton was also around when the advertising agency came with their team to snap the model and make sure she was well taken care of.

“Sydney, excuse me, am I seeing double or does Paxton have a twin?” she asked.

“Oh yeah, he is a twin and the identical twin that is Jaxton” Sydney explained to her.

“Wow, who would have known the handsome and beautiful CEO had a lookalike?”

“Those words alone were enough to have Sydney give her a double take, she began to feel like Sophie was a threat.

As she stood from her angle she could feel Jaxton looking at her but she knew better than to be caught in a staring match with him she had told him that they were going to be selected for a month to have an evaluation.

As her picture is being taken she changes her pose on the massage chair so effortlessly that it almost seems too good to be true to consider her a human.

And when she turned to see that Sophie and Paxton were having a heart-to-heart talk she couldn’t help but feel like she had been left out.

There was Jaxton focused on his phone smiling broadly and here was Paxton making small talk with Sophie.

Maybe she could make a phone call to Kimberly and Ambada to see how there were doing.

The past days had been something she had to reckon with and she had finally realised that her work was still going to be there even if she left it meanwhile her relationships would be lost if she didn’t focus on those who matter the most to her.

After what seemed to be an entire day Sophie called her staff and everything was a wrap she and the team ensured that the visuals of what they had done would be sent to them after proper editing and correction.

” We all are grateful that you showed up here and we hope everything would work out for the better good of our company and we could have these collaborations shortly” the brothers thanked her.

And gracefully, Soohie walked out of the room with Sydney walking behind her.

She still felt some type of way but she brushed it off.

After exchanging hugs with Sophie and seeing that her car had left the driveway she went back into the company to thank her team and to let them know that everything they see if it’s new or old they should adapt to it and just watch the magic that happens when new things are being showcased.

“As you, all know guys the footage of everything would be sent to him and I would want us to have an open mind and accept what er new concept it is that would be brought our way ” Sydney urged her team and everyone accepted.

Everyone was glued to their phones and laptops to receive what they had been working on for months and as they all waited Sydney couldn’t help but keep her fingers crossed that what would be out should be something worthy of getting a great audience.

In her thoughts, she felt an arm around the small of her back.

“We wouldn’t have gotten to this point if not for you” Paxton smiled and walked off to his office when she heard those words from him she was pleased he thought that way.
