57 Impromptu Spotlight

The trio, regulars at their favorite lounge bar, settled into their usual booth. Their arrival, as always,

turned heads, but they were accustomed to the attention.

Jada, musing about Maxwell’s upcoming concert, suggested, “We should definitely get tickets when Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

he’s back.”

“Don’t worry, I’ve got the tickets covered,” Emina assured her.

Their attention turned to the band setting up. Jada pointed out the new lead singer, prompting Bonnie

to explain that he had stepped up after the previous lead singer left.

Jada playfully suggested Emma try singing. “You know, with Maxwell being who he is, you might end

up doing more than just a duet.”

Emma, surprised, laughed off the suggestion but ultimately declined. “No, Maxwell’s the star, not me.

I’m happy outside the limelight.”

Jada nudged her to perform, reminding her of the old times when she occasionally sang with the band,

much to the delight of the patrons.

Meanwhile, Bonnie noticed something amiss with the band members, sensing their impatience for any

issues.

As the conversation continued, a connection formed between Emma and the lead singer. Motivated by

the band’s excitement and the crowd’s anticipation, Emma decided to take the stage.

Handing the mic back to the regular lead singer, who resumed his place at the keyboard, Emma chose

to sing Maxwell’s hits, familiar to the band.

As she began singing, the lounge bar came alive with the energy of Maxwell’s fame, his global stardom

palpable through the music. Emma’s voice, flawlessly delivering Maxwell’s songs, captivated everyone,

electrifying the atmosphere.

The bar owner, recognizing Emma’s voice, emerged from his office, understanding why the ambiance

had suddenly intensified.

After two of Maxwell’s songs, Emma stepped down, humbly acknowledging her admiration for Maxwell

and quickly gaining popularity among the patrons.

As the crowd eventually dispersed, Emma was about to relax when Harold, a talent scout, approached

her.

“Hello, I’m Arnold. Your performance was remarkable. Have you considered a career in

entertainment? With your talent, you could rival Maxwell’s success,” he proposed, seeing potential in

Emma’s impromptu performance.
