Chapter 28
Jeorge Milton moved his head to the side, his dark eyes gleaming at her.
She reached out to reclaim her hand, but he gripped it hard, like if she didn’t exist. Your hand is so cold, why don’t you wear it more? ”
That tone was gentle, as if he really cared.
Ava stared at him, puzzled.
Since she couldn’t get away, she decided to let him hold her and rest while looking out the window.
They didn’t chat much till he arrived at the hotel.
Despite her best efforts to shake him off, he took her hand and strode into the hotel, despite her fears.
He didn’t glance at her until he was in front of the suite’s door andsaid, “Your hands are drenched. What makes you nervous? ”
The suite door opened before she could respond.
Ava was astonished to find a few men in the room, and Feru opened the door.
Jeorge Milton drew her near a group of men playing cards.
Seeing that Jeorge Milton had brought a girl, they all smiled and greeted him with a smile.
He held her hand tightly, as if he knew what she was thinking “Do you play?”
Then someone smiled and lifted his head “Today I’m unfortunate. Come on, sister-in-law, let’s play.”
Ava’s skin was scorching.
“I won’t.”
His ambiguous gaze made everyone present smile meaningfully.
He sat beside her and occasionally held her hand to help her play.
After a few rounds, she had no idea if she had won a fortune.
A tiny grin emerged on her lips as her mood improved.
Ava learned she wasn’t a woman at all, but rather a gambler who had never met someone who could play with her like this.
After an hour of playing, Jeorge Milton asked her if she was hungry, and Feru took over, pulling her hand and leading her to the next room, taking out his room card and opening the door.
Ava’s calm heart stiffened up.
This room was quiet, which made her uneasy and agitated.
He dropped his coat on the bed and just wore a black shirt, which made him handsome.
She didn’t dare to look at him, so she could only bow her head without saying anything.
She finally heard his deep, compelling voice “Are you anxious?”
How could she be calm?
Jeorge Milton pulled her lower jaw to let her gaze at him, seeing her lovely facial features that reminded him of a memory.
He bent over and kissed her, and she held her breath, closed her eyes, and shivered.
He was about to kiss her soft lips when he paused and peered at her with his half-lowered dark eyes.
“Someone’s coming to bring us lunch later, open the door,” he said, turning around and walking towards the restroom.
He then shut the bathroom door.
Ava took a long breath, her hands cupping her chest.
A server gave her a romantic lunch, but she seemed uninterested.
She was lost in front of the windows, staring down on the city.
Maybe she was too busy with her thoughts to see her exit.
His heated lips bit softly on her earlobe , causing her body to shiver as she returned to her senses.
“What’s on your mind?”
“Ignore other guys and stick with me. Did you forget? ”
The sensitive girl couldn’t help but tilt her neck in an effort to avoid him pressing his lips on her face and then her thin neck, but the arms around her got tighter and tighter.NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
A numbing electric charge blasted her whole body, forcing her to nearly fall slack in his grip.
She wanted to shove him away, but he spun her around, forcing her against the glass pane, forcing her to shrink back in resistance.
Ava’s fingers crushed on his chest, but she couldn’t move it.
He kissed harder as she fought.
Their kiss was a tussle, she fought, he plunder…
He let go of her, reluctantly putting his lips on her cheeks, his hands holding her face, his fingers caressing her swollen lips, and curled the corners of his lips, seeing her nervous expression and saying lightly, “I’m hungry, come and eat with me.”
He then grabbed her hand and led her to the couch, where he put a dish of western food on the coffee table.
Ava Lins glanced at him from the side till she realized that he was actually eating. Only then did she think that he was genuinely hungry.
He was eating with enjoyment, while she was not eating at all.
Not only do they dislike Western cuisine, but they’re also apprehensive and unhappy…
“Why not eat?”
“No appetite,” Ava Lins shrugged.
“I…” she asked, realizing it was late.”
Hearing this, Jeorge Milton dropped the dinnerware, got a tissue and cleaned his lips, then pulled out a cigarette and lit it. She started coughing dejectedly as soon as he lit it.
“I can’t stay for the night,” Ava had to explain.
She had to go back early to see her granny early. He got up and headed to the bed, she believed he’d leave her. He sat back on the bed and closed his eyes, as if to sleep.
He closed his eyes. “Come in.”
Her heart jumped.
He hadn’t forgotten what he was going to do.
She hoped they wouldn’t have to do it today…
She knew she couldn’t deny or postpone, so she did. He drew up the blanket and embraced her as she lay down.
Her heart pounded irregularly when she was near him.
She merely stiffened and let herself be held forcefully. There was nothing wrong.
“Sleep with me, I’ll send you back.”
He said it softly, his voice a little tired.
With her fingers on his chest, she could hear the steady, strong beat of another man’s heart.
The clean, cool aroma of his flesh surrounded her in his arms. Ava clenched her fists, fearing he’d leap on her like a ravenous wolf.
She would grow exhausted tensing up like this.
She lifted her eyes to stare at his sleeping face. He seemed innocent and harmless, but lethargic.
