ANNABEL, Coming Back B:

“Hello Ena and Damien.” David greeted and went to his seat which was at the front of Elena.

Like before, Elena saw his two horns on his head but since Demon had explained everything to her she wasn’t shocked anymore. She smiled at the handsome guy and focus on Demon whose eyes seem to be saying

‘Pretend what you are seeing doesn’t exist, and act normal around him’.

Elena turned to face David once again.

“Hope the bullies are no more bullying you again?” She asked to start a conversation between them.

David smiled and nodded his head to her question. “They haven’t, all thanks to you, I am surprised myself because they would have come for me again. Anyways, are you free this evening?” He asked.

“Yup, what for?” Elena answered.

Smiling more brightly. “I want to take you out, just you and me against the world,” He said.

“Sorry, I wish I could say yes but I will be with Damien, he promised to teach me some maths equations that are hard for me to solve,” Elena said with a fake apologetic face.

David smiled faded into a frown as he glared at Demon. “Okay, maybe next time.”

“Yup, definitely next time,” Elena said and the English teacher walked in silencing the noisy classroom and David turned to focus on his teacher.

All through the classes, Elena couldn’t leave Demon side.

Jess House:

Jess heard a knock on her door four hours later and went to open it.

She was surprised to see King Eremus at the front door of her house, he was dressed in a simple black Jean and white t-shirt with a matching black canvas, he was putting on a white face-cap which concealed his face and identity. He was alone, he didn’t come with his guards or cars.

Jess allowed him in and shut the door the her.

“King Eremus I wasn’t expecting to see you this soon,” She said, turning to face him as he removed his face-cap.

“I have to hurry and come after you told me everything over the phone. Since we’ve known who the killer is, I will pay him to leave my daughters alone,” Eremus said, going to sit on one of the sofas.

“That is impossible, your daughter’s just got here a few days ago and you want them to leave?” Jess asked with raised eyebrows.

“Yes Jess, I don’t want my two daughters near a killer.” Eremus gave his reasons.

“But that killer saved us all last night King Eremus, he isn’t an ordinary human like you, he is something more dangerous. And, I think Elena is the Killer’s mate,” Jess said as he remembers the shadows that helped them.ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

“I refused it, he cannot be. I don’t want my daughter’s to know about the supernatural world,” Eremus said.

“Well it’s too late for that.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“What I meant is that Elena now knows about the supernatural world, she knows the killer is a demon and a shadow walker, she knows about her mother, her grandmother has told her everything because Elena’s turn has finally reached and her powers will soon emerge.” Jess explained. “So it’s too late for that King Eremus, the only thing you should be bothered about is the questions she will ask you about her mother once she calls or see you here.” She added.

He heaved out a deep sigh. “She now knows?” He slowly asked.

“Yes, she knows everything but probably she might like to hear it from you. And Eva now knows a little, she was awake when we got attacked by some Ninja’s and the killer whose name is Chase sent his shadow to save us.”

“Okay, I will answer her questions.”

Julian House:

The leopard guy wasn’t himself all through the day, he has been thinking and pacing around in his living room, wondering what might have made Eva to ignore him.

He couldn’t wait for the time they will be back from school so that he can ask her.

His phone rang bringing him out of his deep thoughts. He went to pick up his phone he had angrily thrown on one of the sofas as he was thinking about the strange behaviour of his mate.

Picking it up without looking at the caller’s Id. “Hello, this is Jillian speaking.”

“Julian, if I don’t call, you won’t bother to call us.” The voice of Rose was heard over the other end of the phone.

“Hello mother, good afternoon.” Julian greeted. “Sorry for not calling you or dad.”

“Since you left the house to visit wherever you are, you haven’t called us to let us know how you are faring. I and your father had been worried sick. That is so unlike you.” Rosa complained.

“Sorry mother, I have been busy trying to rechange the look of the house I bought and to run some things here,” Julian said.

“Let me guess the things you are running, a lady right Julian?”

“No mum, not a lady. Can’t I have a personal problem that doesn’t involve a lady?”

“You are my son and I know what you can do,” Rose said. “Hope you haven’t given away your identity to any of those random ladies you picked at night?” She asked.

“No mother, how can you always say that. I have told you I don’t reveal my leopard side to any human. Anyway, I met someone.”

“A lady?”

“Who else if not a lady, yes it’s a lady mother. We became friends and exchanged numbers. So today I woke up and discovered she doesn’t like me anymore, she ignored me totally today when we saw each other, I was hurt.”

Rose was quiet for 10 seconds before speaking. “Have your leopard acted strangely since then?”

“Yes mother, he has been whispering ‘Mate’. I think the lady is my Mate.”

Rose shouted in happiness and said. “I told you this vacation will be different for you. Son, find out why she ignored you, let her tell you her reason and do not give up on her. Gotta go and tell your old man the good news, take care of yourself Julian and stay out of trouble. Love you.” She rushed her words and ended the call.

Well, he will have to wait until she comes back from school and he won’t leave her until she tells him her reason.

The final bell rang and all the students were seen going home. Demon walked Elena and Eva to their car and waited until they drove off before he entered his car and drove home.

He blew the car horn and the gate opened allowing him to drive inside his house. Answering Samuel greetings, he went inside his house and saw David standing in his sitting room.

“The next time you come to my house uninvited I will kill you.” Demon said when he saw him.

“I warned you to stay away from Ena didn’t I?”

“And I told you it’s none of your business with whom I moved out with. You have your life and I have mine.”

“Ena is mine.”

“So? If she is yours and so? Don’t come to my house to warn me to stay away from her.”

“Remember what you are here for, don’t forget that.”

“I am no longer pursuing what brought me here anymore. Camilla isn’t dead, Hades and she faked her death.” Demon revealed. “And don’t give me that pretend shock look, I know you know of their plans and Hades might have promised you some powers in return. Well your plans failed, so I am not killing anyone for your selfish desires, now get out of my house this minute David.”

David didn’t say a word, he just vanished into thin air.

No sooner had he vanished a demon different from the ones that normally appear to him appeared.

“Greetings my Prince, your father requested for your presence immediately.” The demon passed his message and disappeared quickly.

He knows why his father is requesting for his presence, Camilla has told him about their broken mate bond.

I bet she didn’t tell him about her secret affair she was having with Hades. Demon thought and went to his room. At least before going to answer his old man’s call, he needed to have his bath and look presentable like a Prince he is.

Julian was already at the corridor of his house waiting for the familiar yellow Lamborghini to drive into the next compound. He didn’t have to wait for long as he saw the Lamborghini drive in and park.

He waited until Eva was out before he shouted. “Evelyn!!”

Elena turned her head towards his direction and waved her hands to him which he returned, but Eva didn’t. She walked straight to the door and knocked, totally ignoring Jillian.

Surprising Elena and Jillian again. Shrugged her shoulders, Elena went to meet her sister and waited until the door was opened by Jess.

They came in and saw their father.

“Dad.” Both girl’s voice were filled with shock. Eva removed her mask to be sure her eyes weren’t deceiving her.

“Is that how you greet your father?” King Eremus asked standing up from the sofa with a big grin and Elena and Eva ran to meet him, hugging him.

“Dad, so good to see you again,” Elena said as soon as they released their hold on him.

“Yeah, I missed you both and wanted to see you.”

“We missed you too dad. Let me go and have my bath, I will be right back,” Eva said with a huge smile and ran to her room.

“Same to me dad, we have a lot to discuss. I know so many things about myself and my mother,” Elena said and went to her room.

“I told you King Eremus that-” Jess got interrupted by a knock.

“Are you expecting someone?” King Eremus asked as the knock came again.

“No, I am not.” Jess responded and went to open the door.

Standing before her with a beautiful bright smile was Annabel.
