Chapter 13
LET’S BE FRIENDS PLEASE:
“You are right Damien, Hades is also one of the Olympians gods.” Grace said with a smile.
“So did I fail the question Miss Grace?” Elena asked.
“Am afraid yes Ena, you did.” Grace said. “You didn’t mention Hades which Damien had and goddesses.” Grace said, sending Demon a seductively smile who was staring at Elena as Elena rolled her eyes at Grace.
When Grace saw that Damien wasn’t paying any attention to her, she walked back to the front of her students who had been silently watching the trio. “It seems like our two new students here are intelligent, especially Damien.” She said and continued her teaching explaining more about the Olympians.
Elena snorted loudly at the statement and turned to glare at the boy sitting next to her.
“Why are you staring at me seductively Ena, do you like me or want us to catch some fun?” Demon teased her.
“In your dreams Damien.” Elena said and faced the teacher who was teaching and staring in their direction.
Who do he think he is? Elena thought.
She wouldn’t deny the fact that he was handsome, more beautiful than most girls in fact. Her anger didn’t let her see his handsomeness back then in the school compound if not she would have slapped his stupid handsome face. The spoilt brat thinks that every girl that looks at him wants to have sex with with. If only he knows her evil thoughts towards him now.
Demon couldn’t stop himself from staring at Ena. She wasn’t like other girls, his looks doesn’t move her at all. There is something about the girl sitting a few pace beside him that draws him closer to her. He wanted her attention, no, he craves for it. Why does he feels this way around the girl he just met a few minutes ago? No matter how hard he tried to remove his eyes from her, he found out he couldn’t. What is wrong with him?
“Are you not done staring at me?” Elena hissed the words to him with clenched teeth.
He wondered how her lips didn’t move when she spoke. Staring at it, he couldn’t remove his eyes from her lips. The lowly growl from Ena snapped his eyes upwards to meet her own.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Demon found himself smiling. “No, as a matter of fact, I find you more interesting and would like to know everything about you and hope we could be more than classmates or seatmates.”
Elena, who turned to face Miss Grace, turned to face him with a heated gaze and Demon smiled.
“Do I look like I care if you find me interesting?” Elena asked. “if you must know I don’t care and you are not my type of man I need.”
“I can be if you will point out the qualities you need in a man and you watch me transform to him.” Demon said.
That actually made Elena smile a little before it was replaced by a frown. “I am not interested and you don’t know me.”
“And I want to know you, it’s not hard. Okay, let’s start as friends and see how it goes from there.”
“Thank you but I am not interested in your offer.” Elena said and the bell rang once again. She stood up to leave when she faced Demon suddenly bending down to his level of his face.
Demon wasn’t just looking at her beautiful face, he was staring at her little exposed cleavages. He wanted to touch it, to feel it but couldn’t, up this close her scent was driving him crazy, he held himself to avoid doing something he will regret later. “From the little I see, you have a nice cleavage.”
Elena ignored his statement and said to him. “You can try Miss Grace and offer her what you just offered me, am sure she will jump into your arms without delay.”
She strengthened up and left the history class going through her timetable, seeing that her next bus stop was maths class.
She was among the first who came into the maths class and quickly took her seat in the back row, she was the only one sitting in the back row. Ignoring the looks being thrown at her after she was asked by the male teacher to introduce herself to the class, like seriously speaking, has no one ever seen a girl with purple hair before? They are doing as if it is their first time seeing purple hair. She brought out her math textbook and notebook.
Hopefully enough, Damien wouldn’t be in the same class with her.
She was disappointed when the class door opened and Demien stepped in. His eyes first of all went around the whole class and he smiled when they landed on Ena. “Am sorry I am late Sir, am a new student.”
“You are welcome, please have a seat next to Ena and bring out your math books quickly.”
Nodding his head, he approached Elena ignoring her glaring look and took a sit close to her.
“I don’t know for you but I think this is fate. We met in history class and now in maths class. Who knows if we are going to be meeting each other in each class we have.”
Elena ignored him and tried her best not to answer him. She focused on what the teacher was teaching them even though she knows the answers like the back of her palm.
Why is he hell bent on getting the girl talk to him? He couldn’t even think of his beautiful dead wife when he is with Ena.
Even when the bell rang and Ena dash out of the door, he hopes to see her in his next class, Literature.
Surprising enough when he walked into the classroom, he saw Ena and went to sit down next to her.

Somewhere In France:
Julian was seen parking his things in his bag as his mother stood next to him watching him and reminding him what he didn’t put in his bag. Soon he closed his bag and was set to go.
“Don’t forget to call your father or I when you get to Paris and you can come back when you are feeling home sick.” Rose told her son and kissed him on his forehead.
“I will mum. Tell Dad I said my bye.” Julian said.
“And do remember to protect your secrets, no one must know you are a Leopard and a Vampire.” Rose reminded her son as she followed him down the stairs to his car.
“Don’t you trust your son again? No one will know what I am, I do my things diligently.”
“Better Julian.” Rose said. “And what part of Paris do you intend to go?”
“Lowa Town.” Julian answered, opening his black Bugatti door to drop his bag inside his passenger seat.
“Lowa Town? Why do you want to visit a local place? Are you sure you don’t have someone there who you want to visit?” Rose inquired.
“Mum, have told you I am seeing nobody there. I am just going there for myself to see how things looks like, and not to mention the ladies too.”
“When are you going to change from your playboy way’s son?”
“When I see the right one mum.” Julian answered and entered his car. “See you soon mum, take care of yourself.” He added and drove off.
“Bye son.” Rose said and walked back into the mansion.

All through her classes, Elena saw the spoilt brat and she tried her best to ignore him.
She and her sister are sitting down in the school cafeteria. The students around them were discussing but their eyes were on them.
“Hope you didn’t give anyone your real name?” Elena asked.
Eva rolled her eyes. “I am not stupid, I changed my name to Evelyn.” She answered.
“Good. Did they ask you about your mask you are putting on?” Elena asked, shoving her fork and knife into the chicken lap, cutting it and eating it.
“Yup.”
“And what did you tell them?”
“I told them I was involved in a fire accident which left me with a huge scar on my face and…” Eva stopped talking, looking behind Elena when she saw Demon entered the school cafeteria and the noise surrounding them died out Immediately.
He was staring at everybody probably he was looking for someone.
“And why is your mouth opened?” Elena asked and turned to look behind her and at that moment her eyes met silver ones who glinted in happiness once they settled on her.
Turning back to face her sister. “Cover your mouth before you catch a fly.” Elena told Eva but Eva wasn’t listening.
“He is heading towards our table sis!” Eva shrieked out.
“Hush your voice down and-”
“Hi Ena and the mask one.” Demon said, grabbing a seat at their table and sitting down since the only two chairs in the table are occupied by Ena and her sister.
“Hello am Evelyn, Ena’s sister.” Eva said in enthusiasm.
She realized that the cafeteria was as silent as a graveyard.
“Hello Evelyn.” Demon said to the young mask girl and turned his attention to Ena, at least she appears older than her sister. “Your sister seems to be running away from me.”
“What do you want Damien? Why are you bent on following me around, aren’t you tried of it already?” Elena inquired. She doesn’t want to beat up the boy pestering her around on her first day in school, but he should not force her hand.
“I know you are angry at the way I spoke to you earlier today instead of apologizing. I am sorry for that.” Demon couldn’t believe he was apologizing to her.
“Apology accepted.” Elena said, not looking at him.
“Not only that, I want us to be friends Ena, let’s be friends, please.”
He was so drawn to Ena and it hurt him that she was looking elsewhere instead of him.
It hurts like hell.
