Chapter 09 |AGONIZE|

A room, in which a couple was sleeping on the bed like any other can do. The room from which last

night a vulnerable lady was screaming for help and humanity was now filled with pure tranquility.

The dark cyan walls which were engulfing and increasing the terror of the girl who was suddenly

exposed to the ruthless world was now ordinary like any other wall.

The moon has concealed himself who was embarrassed after witnessing the heinous act from mankind

towards a moral lady.

Bright sun took its place producing sun rays which were piercing through the white chiffon curtains

falling on the face of that victim lady, who is still in a hope of proving all these just a nightmare.

But the reality is damn harsh than a nightmare itself.

Warmness on my eyelids woke me up from my deep slumber. Eyes kept on fluttering for adjusting to

the bright sun rays. I felt warm breath falling on my nape of the neck. I tried getting away but something

on my waist and thigh didn't allow me.

I glanced down and found myself naked under the duvet with a hand on my waist and legs entangled

with me, which I certainly knew who belonged to. I followed the arm and there!

The man who made me experience how hell in the world feels was sleeping calmly, with not even a hint

of guiltiness present on his face. Every memory came rushing into my mind.

Suddenly I remembered something looking around me and realizing its a new day. It's a new day? I

have missed my honor ceremony? My eyes filled with endless tears, I lost my last hope.......I lost my

chance! I couldn't reach for my honor!

My all efforts for being an archaeologist were now all in vain. My all sufferings, my all hard work, my

mother's hard work, her efforts for making my dreams true with fighting against the world's stereotype

mentality. Everything was futile now! And all because of this one man!

Nothing ever came good in my life because of him! my first love, my first kiss, my first time, my career

everything which I cherished was taken away by him!

I was sobbing loudly for all my losses, for all the pain he has inflicted in me.

my mind was continuously questioning me, what was my motive for a living? for what was I living? he

took everything!

I'm so naive! I didn't know at that time that, I have just started to lose my everything to him and it's just

beginning not the END..........

I was turned around and meet with the adorable brown eyes filled with concern, I guess "what

happened? why are you crying? is it hurting too much? should I call a doctor?" That same brown eyes

which were enjoying my pain before was worried about me. Why does he care? When he is the cause

of pain. I averted my eyes. Nothing can change anything, the night is gone.

I lost my two precious things in one night.......

She wasn't sobbing anymore but She wasn't responding, she was just staring down.

I moved my lips to her ears and kissed her earlobe. "Why aren't you answering me, babe?" I asked her

nibbling her earlobe.

"Can I talk to my Maa (mother)?" She asked more like whispering.

" No, not now " I declared firmly.

But before she could say anything a knock on the door interrupted us.

"Sir, my apologizes for the disturbance but Mr.Dahl has arrived" it was Warren, the butler of Lunar

Mansion.

"I'm coming, wait for me downstairs" I replied.

"Okay sir"

"Babe, I have a surprise for you later. Just wait for me, like a good girl" I told her expecting the exciting

reaction she used to give back before. But she just glanced at me and lowered her eyes.

I got up from my bed grabbing the robe and wearing it. I glanced at her and she was still looking down.

I got to the bedside table and took out the faux fur handcuff so that it doesn't hurt her bruises.

I attached it to the headboard and when I took her wrist to tie the handcuff, she looked up at me with

her tear-stained eyes and then stared down towards her handcuff "why......" She whispered to herself.

"Because I can't afford to lose you again," I answered her and walked out of the room. She has to be

kept tied before she understands she can't run away from me. Because I know how feisty is she.

While walking downstairs towards my grand Jacuzzi on the lawn under the wooden pergola. A thought

crossed my mind, why was it hurting so much for her? Can it be that my babe is suffering from some

disease which she is unaware of and it may hurt her?! I should call a doctor to do her full body checkup

including everything.

I spotted a maid crossing my sight of vision. I called her "Inform Ms.Olivia and Mr.Warren that I have

summoned them near pergola with my cell phone. Now!" I ordered her.

I was feeling energetic and rejuvenated while relaxing in the jacuzzi which I haven't felt in a while,

maybe because my babe has returned! I squealed like a baby with happiness, which I can't believe.

I'm so happy, just one more step and you will be mine finally, totally and legally mine............

"Sir, you called for us?" My thoughts were interrupted by Olivia.

"Yes, you are head maidservant, so I'm trusting you with the meals of your lady. Prepare nutritious food

for her with a proper diet, she must gain weight.

She is too weak. One more thing serves her a variety of dishes made of eggs, she loves to eat eggs.

And also always prepare the best dessert for her, she has a sweet tooth.

Make sure she doesn't skip any meal. The responsibility of serving her meals and taking care of her is

solely yours. You are her attendant. Understood? If yes, then take these keys. You may leave" I

ordered firmly.

"Understood sir" Olivia replied

"And yes, she is Keya, the lady of the house from now onwards." I declared to them. Olivia bowed and

walked away.

"Mr.Warren, call Mrs.Aira" he called her and bought the cell phone near my ear.

"Hey Adik! how are you?" Aira asked cheerfully.

"I'm fine, but can you visit my mansion and do a full body checkup?" I asked her.

"Sorry, Adik I can't, you know right I'm in my 7 months and May doesn't even let me come and visit my

clinic. He will not allow it. But who needs a checkup?" Oh shit! How can I forget that Aira is pregnant!

No, I can't tell her about keya now or else she will come here running, it's not good for her health.

"It's one of my staff, she isn't feeling well" I answered knowing she won't believe me.

"Ummm......okay......Don't worry Adik, I will send my assistant she is very capable. She can do the job

efficiently. By the way which Mansion?" She asked

"The one in the dark woods"

" Lunar Mansion? Then prepare for her transportation" she told.

"Yeah, take care of yourself" she thanked me, and then Warren hanged up the call.

I ordered the staff to take care of the arriving doctor.

I got out of the Jacuzzi, dried up myself, and made my way towards Mr.Dahl, after dressing up myself.

"Because I can't afford to lose you again." I watched his retreating figure out the door. I stared at my

handcuff, do I look like in a condition of running away, that I need to be cuffed like animals?

I tried to move my body upwards to sit, without realizing I would regret it. The pain has doubled as

compared to what I experienced yesterday, the whole body was sore like I will die with ache if the wind

blows hard. I can't even move, how can I run away?

Nothing is anymore in my hands. Even my tears don't obey me anymore, they flow of their own will.

I looked around the room which was decorated aesthetically. The dark cyan walls, white curtains, the

dark grey bed with light grey covers, the white chandelier, and everything in front of my eyes was

beautiful.

I glanced towards the bedside table of his side and my eyes widen. My trembling hand reached for the

picture frame placed on the bedside table. I took it near me and the tears again escaped from my

swelled eyes falling on the glass of the picture frame as I stared down at it.

My lips quivered looking at the picture and recalling the memories, which I thought I have forgotten.

The picture was of Adik and mine... Both of us in our school uniform, it was a selfie on the cliff near a

beach. The phone was in his hand and our lips were meeting each other, with our eyes shut. His tie

and our hair were flying because of the strong wind.

We both are looking so happy in this picture, it was one of the happiest period of my life till now.

I remember when me, Adik, Aira, May, Saina, and Abhi bunked off our rehearsal once. We 3 pairs

traveled to a nearby beach which was totally uninhabited, only 6 of us were present there. I and Saina

were reluctant to miss a rehearsal, but they dragged us with them.

The picture was of when Adik asked for clicking one. We were posing normally. When I intended to kiss

his cheek, shutting my eyes while clicking the picture. But on the end moment, he turned his head and

our lips met and he clicked the picture. I was shocked, but soon we were in a phase of smooching.

I looked at the picture and then glanced at my handcuff.

I kept the picture frame back in its original place and stared aimlessly towards the white door of the

room not knowing what to do. When a knock on the door erupted my thoughts.

"My lady, may I have the permission to enter the room?"
