Chapter 410 Are You Still Shy About Your Behavior Last Night

His arms slowly wrapped around her soft waist. He had her completely protected. Now Zed inhaled the

scent of her body waiting for Jean's further actions. He wanted more than just a kiss.

On the other hand, Jean felt so ashamed to take the initiative to do this. Her mind was filled with

pounding blood. Being in such a position, she couldn't think clearly. She heard Zed talk to her but his

words didn't make sense to her confused mind.

Anxiously, she wondered what to do next. Her crimson face deepened and a darker shade appeared.

Jean felt extremely awkward so she closed her eyes and covered her face with both the hands to avoid

Seeing her cute actions, Zed figured that Jean must be very nervous about taking over the whole

joyful voice as he caught the sight of her red face. He propped up his head with his hands and looked

"Alright! Forget it. I have something to tell you, Jean," Zed said as he realized Jean felt anxious about

his teasing. He wanted to give her a rest and change the topic.

"What?" Jean turned to face Zed instantly and looked at him with a confused look.

"I have planned to arrange Toby, Gregory and Terry to look after you. Their duty is to make sure you

are safe," Zed said seriously as he gazed at Jean.

"Gregory's and Terry's job is to protect you. If you give them to me, you have to get the others to

replace this position, don't you?" Jean questioned feeling worried.

She had already figured out that Toby was responsible for Zed's safety earlier.

But then Zed asked him to protect Jean so Gregory and Terry had to take his position.

'If Zed sends Gregory and Terry to protect me, who will protect his safety?' Jean thought inwardly

worrying about Zed's safety.

"I will be fine. And you are the one going to face danger at the moment," Zed consoled in a soothing

voice. He continued,"You don't want me to come with you. What I can do now is to let them protect you.

I trust them, Jean."

"How about you?" Jean responded ignoring his concern for her safety. She knew that Zed wouldn't

change his mind about this, but she tried nevertheless.

"Don't worry about me. Please relax, girl. I will arrange the others to do their duty. I promise you that I

will be fine. Go and solve your problem. I will be waiting for you at home," Zed said. Deep down, he

worried a great deal about Jean's safety.

"Alright!" Since Zed insisted on this arrangement, she had no choice but to accept it. Reluctantly, she

nodded her consent.

A faint smile crept up on Zed's face as he watched Jean accept his arrangement. He felt relieved and

said,"It's time to get up, Honey. Where are you planning to go today? Let me give you a ride."

"You are late for the office, Zed. Let Toby drive me to the hospital. Don't worry about me," Jean said

with a big smile on her face. "I will visit Henry after breakfast. I have to figure out what Henry plans to

do first."

"If your father is reluctant to sell the Wen group, I will pay one hundred million dollars," Zed said as he

put on his clothes.

"No way." Jean rejected this idea without even thinking twice about it. She continued,"It's yours. I will

not plan to spend your money to save Shirley. Just relaxed, Zed. Let me handle this."

Since Jean insisted on coping with the whole issue by her own, Zed planned to back out. "Alright! I will

let you deal with it."

"Thank you, Zed," Jean said with a nod. Then she quickly put on her dress and followed Zed

After having breakfast, she followed him outside.

They saw Toby, Gregory and Terry stand beside two luxurious cars which were parked in front of

As Zed looked, he realized that one car was Cadillac and another one was Lamborghini. Secretly, he

thought, 'Although they are luxury sports cars and limited editions, they are not good enough for gun

fighting.'

So he went to Toby and ordered,"You drive Bentley from today onwards and take good care of Jean's

safety."

Zed felt assured. He kissed her forehead and walked toward that Cadillac.

And Toby drove that luxury Bentley car and stopped it in front of Jean.
