Chapter 400 Please Love Her With All Your Heart

Zed watched Moore's anxious face and became silent.

'Obviously, Moore is right!

Jean has asked me the same question before.

I obviously don't know her the way Moore does, ' Zed admitted.

As soon as the thought crossed his mind, he got confused. "I came here to threaten you so that you

stay away from Jean and leave this city. I didn't know I would get to learn something from you. Today I

"All right!" Zed was touched by his words. "Moore, after you get discharged from the hospital, let's sit

Zed got embarrassed as soon as he heard what Moore said. "That's because I was angry! I let out all

my anger on you. You have no idea what I felt like when I heard that Jean wants to divorce me. My

world collapsed right in front of me. I wouldn't have spoken to you calmly if you hadn't said those

words. You made me realize what I was lacking," he explained in a hushed tone.

"I know! But I didn't expect you to get this angry because of Jean. Zed, please love her with all your

heart. And I hope that you don't upset her anymore." Moore encouraged him as he patted on his

shoulder.

"Yes, Moore! I will never hurt her again." Zed nodded.

"To tell you the truth, I am relieved because Jesse left." Moore looked at Zed and smiled. "I don't know

how you treat other women, but it is quite obvious that you have always preferred Jesse over others. I

have seen Jesse show off your affection for her in front of Jean more than once. Zed, I am not insulting

Jesse, but I want you to understand the fact that Jean has suffered a lot in your absence."

"When did that happen?" Zed asked in surprise. He couldn't believe that Jesse could do something like

that behind his back.

"It was during the time when Jean was hospitalized. Jesse rushed there as soon as the incident

regarding the video took place. She was also the one who proposed the idea of having a press

conference to clarify the rumors. I know her intention was to help you, but do you think it's appropriate

for your childhood friend to ask your wife to do that?" Moore asked with a smile on his face.

Zed sighed. "Thank you for telling me that! Now I know exactly what to do. See you later!"

Zed finished talking, patted Moore on his shoulder and turned around to leave.

As the door closed behind Zed, Moore's expression changed.

'Jean, I did this only for you. I just hope that you always stay happy, ' thought Moore.

On the other hand, Zed drove home without any further delay.

He still couldn't believe what just happened. At first, he had thought that everything would be alright

after he asked Moore to leave H City.

And he didn't expect them to talk like they just did.

Zed knew that the reason why Moore told him those things was because Moore cared for Jean and

didn't want her to suffer anymore.

In other words, Moore did not insult him for Zed's sake.

Moore tried hard to make sure that Zed would not hurt Jean again.

Zed felt bitter at this thought.

He had doubted Moore's feelings for Jean, but he thought differently of him now.

At the same time, he was worried that Moore's existence would threaten his relationship with Jean. It

was quite obvious that Moore really cared for Jean.

Zed thought. He felt relieved and raced his car towards home.

He got out of the car and saw Toby quickly walking towards him.

"Mr. Zed." Toby called him out respectfully.

"What's wrong?" Zed frowned and walked inside quickly.

"Mrs. Jean has locked herself in her room since she came back. I asked Zelda to call her for dinner, but

there is not even a single sound inside her room. Now that you are back, please go and see if she is

alright," Toby reported to Zed in a hurry.

Toby smiled as soon as he saw Zed disappear into the house.

It was true that he had asked Zelda to call Mrs. Jean for dinner.

He lied so that Zed would get worried about Jean.

'Once Mrs. Jean sees how worried Mr. Zed is for her and she reflects on what I talked to her about,

their relationship would get better. Although it might not be the same as it was before but it surely will

get better.'

Toby was so concerned about Zed and Jean that he almost forgot whether he would be punished if

someone found out what he did.

Zed ran upstairs and knocked on the door, but no one answered. He couldn't breathe properly. He

turned the knob, only to find the door locked.

He continued knocking but he couldn't hear a single sound from inside. He knew something was

wrong.

Zed became anxious. He went to the study room to find the spare key and unlocked the door as soon

as he could. Then he walked inside quickly.

As Zed walked into the bedroom, he saw Jean lay on the bed. She was still dressed with hair all

messed up. Her white face resembled that of Snow White. Her beauty was mesmerizing.

Zed was relieved at the sight of Jean.

He sighed and approached Jean slowly. She was sound asleep.

Even when she was asleep, her face was not relaxed.

As Zed saw this, his heart twitched.

'Jean, what are you dreaming right now?

Am I in your dream?' he thought.

Zed couldn't help but touch her as he regretted everything.

'Sorry! It is because of me that you had to suffer.

I'm so sorry to make you upset.

I won't ever leave you alone. Never!

No matter what anyone wants, I would love you forever. Even if I want to protect you in the future, I

won't ever talk harshly to you again.
