Chapter 364 You Are Overly Jealous

"Jean..." Zed felt speechless. He really couldn't understand why Jean was being so adamant.

"I changed my mind. I'm not happy ever since I came to know you held his hand in the market," Zed

"I held his hand because he was injured. The market was too crowded so I took his hand to protect

"Toby said goodbye to me and told me he was leaving. Did he lie to me then?" Confusion took over

Jean and she found it hard to believe why Toby pretended like his duty was over.

"I figured you would be more relaxed and comfortable if I let him protect you secretly. I never meant to

let you know about his presence. However, we had to tell you since we had no choice," Zed explained

to Jean in a calm manner.

"Zed, you said Toby's job was to protect me instead of monitoring me, right?" Jean looked at Zed with

suspicious eyes.

"Yes, I sent him to protect you," Zed replied while he nodded his head sincerely.

"What is the need for protection? Does anyone want to take revenge?" Anxiety flooded over her face

and she spoke in a worried tone.

Zed had never expected Jean would say this. He didn't mean to worry her so he sighed. "Nothing! Be

relaxed. It's hard not to offend people during work. But it's not about my business. I'm afraid that

someone like Ethan will do something bad to you so I asked Toby to protect you. Ethan is such a jerk.

After what Ethan has done to you, I have to make sure about your safety. You are my wife and the most

important woman in my life. I will protect you from any harm that is waiting to befall. I will not allow

anything bad to happen to you. If something does happen then I won't be able to forgive myself. Can

you promise me you will take good care of yourself?"

Zed gazed at her face and requested.
