12pm Bliss Hotel

Inside a wide and luxurious chairs sat Officer Thomas and his gang as they went through a large drawing that was placed on the table in their midst.

On the large paper was a drawing of a fuel station known as Arc Oil N’ Gas.

Arc Oil N’ Gas was a newly built fuel station at built at the end of New York City.

Robin Sar, a retired police officer owned it. He had it built after retiring from the force due to pressure.

“Pick up a frustrated criminal and have him set the fire. It’s better he lives no more for our own good than waste in jail tsk tsk! Why aren’t you saying anything. Or you don’t think I am making sense?” Thomas asked?

The men around him froze.

“I think you’re right, but wouldn’t this be going to far? What if we get caught in action?” One of the men asked, about to shiver.

“You think we would get caught?” Thomas asked with a smirk on his face. Standing up from his chair, he strode towards Sam, went closer to his ear like he was about to speak to him and bit his left ear so hard.

“Ahhhh!” Sam screamed. He never expected it.

“If you can’t provide someone, sacrifice yourself and don’t stress my operation.” Thomas whispered. Turning to the rest, “I am ready, you should too. Remember, you can’t fuck this up.” he then walked away.

12am Arc Oil N’ Gas

A black sport car pulled up at Arc Oil N’ Gas in a secret corner as Adam, Dave and Mike came down and got into the fuel station with a mini torchlight in their hands.

“Adam, be careful. Your right. Mike, your left.” Dave whispered and walked straight into the building to destroy the cctv around the station.

The three men walked around, bursted tanks and made them leak.

Twenty minutes later, they rushed out and entered the car. Immediately they got in, Sam started the car and they disappeared out of sight.

The next morning in Anita’s apartment.

It was 6am and Anita was still in bed. What woke her up was the sound of a knock on her door.

Stretching, she tried to keep her head calm as she headed towards the door.

“Kate? So early!” she said, a bit surprised to see Kate.

“Are you surprised? Don’t be.” Kate said a bit loud with giggles as she pushed open the door and entered the house.

“Good morning Kate!”

“Grand rising darling!”

Anita was feeling so exhausted due to the stress she had put herself through last night while thinking about Andre and the coming incident.

“Are you okay Anita?” Kate asked as she studied her friend.

“I am fine, I just feel tired and need to rest.” she said as she fell on the couch in the sitting room.

This cracked Kate up as she started laughing at her.

After seeing that Anita didn’t feel like speaking a word to anyone, Kate headed to the kitchen to make simple breakfast for both of them with the little item she walked in with.

After one hour, she returned to the sitting to see that Anita was still laying weak on the couch.

“Anita don’t you have work to do at the media house today? Are you alright you look weak.” she said to her, changing her tone of voice after noticing some look on her face.

“Anita talk to me. Is everything okay? Tell me.” Kate said calmly as she walked towards Anita.

“Kate I am fine. I just need some rest. After that, I will prepare and go to work.” Anita responded, not willing to share her problem.

“I don’t care about what you say right now, but you have to explain why you feel down so early in the morning. The Anita I know is definitely not like this.” she spat, a bit angry. After some seconds, she calmed down and walked to Anita, “Is it about your job? What do you have to do today?” she asked.

Anita was already feeling so touched at the care that kate was throwing her way. This kind of care was one in a million, one she knew she could hardly ever see somewhere else.

“Kate, it’s about work. I have a bad feeling about this. I just hope all goes well.” Anita managed to respond.

“If that work will keep giving you unnecessary trauma, you should drop it. Nothing is more important than your mental health Anita.” Kate said to her.

“Kate I am fine. You know it’s not so easily to get a good job. How sure are you that the boss of the next company would treat me like my current boos?”

“Anita, it’s not about that. Your mental health is what I am speaking about right now.”

“I know you care about me a lot kate, but I will handle it.” Anita replied.

“It’s fine. As long as it has nothing to do with your safety.”

“Erm actually, it does.”

“It what?” Kate froze.

“Kate, this is my problem. Fire is about to break out by 5pm this evening. I am aware that the fire would break out, that’s why I am freezing. Kate people will lose their lives.” Anita exposed their fears.

Kate’s mouth was widely open in shock.

“Do you know the worst case? The bad thing about this is that I can not tell anyone about it because the fire has to break out.” Anita continued helplessly.

She had remembered calling Thomas last night to check up on him.

She was walking allover her room as her heart was beating faster. Thomas was not picking her calls and that only grew her worry.

She couldn’t rest or even sleep because her thoughts were full.

She needed to save humans’ lives. Since he was a police officer, would it not be the best if he made calls and put things in order?

Kate stood frozen as she watched her friend.
