The head of the epsilon group was offering prayers to the moon goddess when they got to the front of the hall. Meagan saw Carl standing close to Julius and a smile played on his lips too as they approached the entrance. He wasn’t looking at the bride as everyone complimented her stunning looks but his eyes were on Meagan. And she couldn’t help but drool at how handsome Carl looks in his navy blue suit and a fuscia pink bow tie attached to the collar. Meagan knew at the moment that her eyes was going to be on him throughout the wedding ceremony.

The bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl and ring bearer gathered around the couple to hear Helen’s recap on the cues and movements before they got to their respective positions. Some of the bridal train cleared the way for the groom and some of his men to line up as the first set to file into the hall, leaving just the bride and her uncle at the end.

The head of the epsilon group announced the presence of the groom and his men and the orchestral played a song. They walked in doing a graceful show just for the groom until he got to the altar to wait for his bride.

Mr Christopher, Hazel’s uncle covered her face with the soft linen. Once again the head of the epsilon group announced the presence of the bride and her bridesmaids. And the guests turned their heads to see the beautiful bride and her crew. They did their movements perfectly and the two groups separated for the bride and her uncle to pass through as he walked her to her mate.

“The mating ceremony begins now.” The head of the epsilon group coaxed as the hall became silent.

We are all here for the union of Hazel and Beta Julius. May this union be blessed by the moon goddess.” He commended the alpha and the beta on the good works they have been doing in the pack. He mentioned few funny things he had witnessed from Julius childhood and also Hazel which made everyone laughed.

He complimented Julius bravery and for having a keen eyes towards choosing a mate. He preached to the couple and gave them some marital rules that might help as they embark on the life time journey together.

And after like twenty minutes of his teaching, he announced the moment for the couple to exchange their vows. He instructed Julius to remove the linen from his mate’s face and he did. Two junior epsilon’s stationed themselves close to the altar to help with the mating rituals.

The head of the epsilon group took a knife and cup from the altar and raised it up for everyone to see.

“You will go first, Beta Julius.” Epsilon Micheal said and Julius stretched out his left palm towards him.

“Repeat every words I speak.” Epsilon Micheal instructed.

Julius nodded in understanding.

“In the name of our respected and beloved moon goddess, I take you, Hazel to be my mate, to have and to hold onto to you from this day forward. I promise to love you as my mate, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to care and cherish you until I breathe my last. This is my vow.”

Julius repeated the same words after the leader of the epsilon group. He took the knife and sliced through his palm a bit and he let his blood drop into the cup.

One of the junior epsilon collected the cup and gave it to the bride to drink it while the other epsilon wore a nylon glove and placed a gauze and band aid on Julius’s palm.

Hazel said her vows and they repeated the same process.

“Let the ring bearer come forward.” Epsilon Micheal said and the ring bearer matched forward. He handed the box to one of the junior epsilon who was the left while the other one had taken the tray away.

“This ring you are about to give out to each other is a symbol of your love and faithfulness. These rings serves as a reminder of the vows you have spoken today on your wedding day.” Epsilon Micheal preached as he gestured to Hazel to do the process first. Hazel took one of the rings.

“Repeat after me.” The epsilon ordered.

“As I place this ring on your finger, I commit my heart, body and soul to you as my other half.”

Hazel said the words as tears clouded the corners of her eyes.

“I offer to you this ring to wear as a symbol of our mated souls and unbreakable mate bond.” Julius said as he looked straight into his mate’s eyes.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

The flower girl came forward and gave the wedding bands to the junior epsilon who in turn passed it to the leader to pray on it. The junior epsilon’s helped the couple wear their wedding bands. The couple would wear the bands while they consummate their bonds tonight till Hazel’s mate mark heals.

“It’s done. You may kiss your bride.” Epsilon micheal said loudly into the microphone.

The whole guests stood up to their feet as they jammed their hands together. Julius wiped Hazel’s tears with his fingertips.

“It’s alright. You are mine now.” Julius smiled. He covered the gap between them and claimed her lips.

Screams filled the air from guests, bridesmaids and groomsmen as the newly wedded couples shared a kiss.
