Chapter 9: seven
Chapter 9: seven
Malia snorts unlady like making Jade
smile. Seems like someone isn't a fan.
"Blonde hair, blue eyes. Typical bitchy barbie you read about in all the stories. Like clichey much?!.
Anyways she's Alpha's current play thing if you're wondering, but she's in denial and tells everyone that
she's his girlfriend and mate which we know she isn't, also mind you the fact that Alpha never had a
girlfriend before" Jade felt slight relief at that. "She likes to call herself the Luna of this pack." Malia
snorts again, distaste lacing her voice.
"I'd rather jump off a cliff than have her as my luna. She has slept with almost half of the men in this
pack. It is only a matter of time before Alpha discards her off like a used box of tissue paper. God I
would pay every penny in my pocket to see her face the day that happens." Malia stops ranting.
Jade felt bad for the she wolf, but the feeling of relief overpowered her senses. No matter how nice
Jade was, no one liked seeing their mate with another female. Mates are meant to be sacred beings.
Two halves made a whole. The moon goddess has blessed every werewolf with a mate, one that she'd
hoped would keep them grounded, make them feel loved.
Jade's wolf was a strong one, meaning her want for him was ten folds stronger.

"Jade, hey, wait up!" Someone calling out Jade's name made her halts in her footsteps, confused she
turn around towards where she could hear the person running towards her. She had been walking
through the hallways planning on talking a walk outside when she'd heard the person calling her name.
The sound of footsteps stops directly infront of her, the air carried a familiar scent with it. A small smile
graces her face when she realises who it was.
"Hey Nate" Jade speaks up, Nathaniel, or Nate as he liked to be called had been someone she had
been talking frequently around the pack house, and during one of those times was when he had asked
her to call him Nate since 'Nathaniel' was too long and plus 'the use of his full name made him feel like
he was in trouble' was what he said to her making Jade smile amusedly at his words. they haven't gone
out on a date yet though since she hadn't seen him for the past one week.
"Hi" he breaths out, He was bent over with both his hands resting on his knees as he took big gulps of
air.
"Damn, I felt like I just ran a marathon" he speaks up after a few moments of him catching his breath.
He'd seen her walk around the hallways, luckily he'd got a glimpse of her when she'd walked past one
of the widows, outside which he stood with rest of the pack warriors, training. He had some how
manage to slip out with out being noticed.
What he missed was the tall figure who stood underneath the tree, under the shadows it provided to
conceal his features. Adryan had been watching the warriors train when he'd got a hint of her
strawberry scent and after a few minutes he'd seen his Delta slip out sneakily making his teeth to
clench in anger. Nate was new, and Adryan didn't want to scare off the young male. But, seems like he
would've to if he planned on continuing to pursue his mate.
His lips curls up into a smirk when an idea enters his mind.
Nate had been meaning to talk to her about their date but the past week the Alpha had been pushing
everyone to train harder and the security around the pack house has been doubled. Alpha had been
more aggressive during the training, which worried everyone in the pack. None of them knew what it
was about, but they knew better than to question Alpha Adryan Romano's orders. Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.
"So? why did you run a marathon for?" Jade asks him with a playful tone making him narrow his eyes
at her words playfully even though she couldn't see him.
"Now, I have been meaning to talk about that date we'd both agreed on" Nate's words sounded teasing.
"Oh" she felt herself turning shy all of a sudden after hearing him talk about their date. She'd never
really went out on a date with a guy so she didn't know how it all worked.
Nate's smile widens upon seeing Jade blush, she was the most beautiful girl he'd seen around the pack
house. He may or might not have asked around and found out that she was single, he'd thought why
not shoot his shot before it was too late, right?!
"Well I wanted to tell you that I'm planning on taking you out tomorrow night at eight. Is that okay with
you?" Jade was startled at his words but instantly bobs her head up and down when she had realised
that she hadn't given him a reply.
"Well then Darling, be ready. I'll pick you up at eight." He says and suddenly speaks up again
remembering something, "Oh, and wear a dress." He places a small kiss on her cheeks, Jade didn't
know what she was more shocked about anymore, about his sudden endearment for her or him kissing
her on her cheeks which were a flaming red color now. She was too shocked to reply before he had
said his byes.
