Chapter 48

Michael's P.O.V.

I groaned as my eyes slowly opened. My head was throbbing with pain. I took in my surroundings and

realized I was still in my room. Where's Mya?

I sat up rubbing the back of my head. I remember Mya was here...and so was Dan...we were talking...

Mya...she's not here..

I sat up quickly feeling a little light headed. "Mya!!" I called aloud hoping to get some sort of response.

No answer...

I walked into the hallway and called her name again. "Mya!!" I made sure to raise my voice loud

enough so that she could hear me from any room in the house....there was still no answer.

I sighed running a stressful hand through my hair. Where could she be?

I walked over to her room and opened the door. I froze and my jaw dropped..Danny stood there fixing

his pants and Mya's naked body laid limp on the floor. She wasn't passed out but she looked drained.

Her body was shaking and sweat drenched her skin. A long stream of blood ran down her leg.... he

raped her..

My body shook harshly as loud cries left my lips. I slowly made my way over to her and kneeled by her

side. "Daddy..." She whispered hoarsely reaching her hand out to touch mine. "Baby...I-I I'm sorry...I-" I

couldn't finish speaking, my cries became out of control.

"Mike." I knew that was Daniel..

I looked over at him and he stared at me with a blank expression. "Stand up Michael." I slowly stood to

my feet, stumbling a bit from feeling so weak.

"Dan stop *sob* stop hurting her please...take your *sob* take your anger out on me...I won't fight

back.." at this point I was practically begging for him to leave her alone. He folded his arms across his

chest and smirked. "Really Mike...look at you crying like a b!tch.... Mya is strong. I wouldn't be doing

this to her if I didn't think she could handle it." I shook my head whimpering. I felt so small under his

gaze. "Dan there's only so much she can handle before she breaks..."

He shook his head and shrugged almost amused but what I said. "Well if she does break...you can

blame yourself. No one told you to fall in love."

That hurt. That felt like a stab in the heart. How could he just dismiss love?

He walked over to Mya and lifted her up bridal style. "Danny don't-" he glared at me making me shut up

immediately. "I'm not gonna hurt her Mikey. I'm just gonna go clean her up a bit." I shook my head. "No

Dan-"

He cut me off again. "Stop Mike I said I'm gonna clean her up so I will. You have my word...if you still

don't trust me then you can watch." I nodded, that was a lot better then just worrying.

Mya's eyes drooped closed but she quickly opened them again. "Daddy...." She said weakly slowly

trying to grab on to me. I lifted my hand out to her but Dan turned away so I couldn't touch her. I

frowned.

Danny placed Mya on her feet and she almost fell over from being so weak. He held her tightly to

steady her and crouched down to her level. "Mya I need to take care of you now ok?"

Mya nodded but she didn't look like she was fully there. Her eyes slowly closed and then opened again.

"Mya! Don't sleep baby. You're gonna pass out if you do ok? Focus on me honey...good girl...focus on

master."

She blinked a couple of times but her eyes closed again. "Master..." she said slowly. He nodded, "yes

good girl." All of a sudden tears filled her tired eyes and heavy cries left her lips. "Master please *sob*

please don't hurt me *sob* please no more." I frowned. Every word that left her lips made my heart sink

more. Dan shook his head. "I won't babe I promise.."

I tilted my head in confusion, how did he just change his emotions towards her like that? He went from

mean and crazy to nice and gently...

He stood to his full height and grabbed Mya's hand. "Come on pumpkin let's go get clean."

I followed them into the bathroom and stood in the door way. Daniel set the water and gently placed

Mya in it. She sighed and closed her eyes, her body relaxing slowly. "Is the water ok baby?" She

opened her eyes and nodded. "Master I want teddy." Danny froze and looked at her with shock. "You

still have the teddy I gave you?" She nodded and looked down at her fingers, "I-I always had it. I never

got rid of it."

I didn't expect this but Dan smiled...a real genuine smile..
