Chapter 20

Michael's P.O.V.

I groaned as I felt several taps on my chest. "Stop..." I mumbled into the air burying my face back into

the pillow. The tapping stopped for a second but it started back up again.

"D-Daddy..."

I knew that was Mya but I didn't open my eyes. I was just too tired. I turned my back towards her and

tried to fall back asleep. "Princess, daddy is sleeping."

"Daddy..." she called again but this time she sniffled. That caught my attention. My eyes shot open and

I quickly sat up and turned on the lamp. I turned to face Mya and her eyes were watery and puffy. I

looked at the clock. 3:12 a.m.

"What's wrong princess?" I asked turning my attention completely to her. She shook her head as more

tears fell. She started to rock back and forth. "Sorry daddy....didn't mean it.... no no....sorry daddy." She

chanted this about three times before she reached her left hand up and started to scratch right below

her ear.

"Princess.." I called.

This only caused her to rock and chant faster. Her scratching became more intense causing her to

bleed. "MYA!!!" I yelled startled by her actions. I grabbed both her hands and shook them. "Stop it!" I

said sternly causing her to jump. She blinked a couple times as if trying to recognize her surroundings.

Her breathing became erratic and hectic. She ripped her hand from my grasp and grabbed her chest as

she toppled over.

My eyes widened as I stood up. I ran to my drawer looking for her pump. I opened the first drawer and

pulled out every single piece of clothing. Nothing. I went to the next drawer and repeated the action,

this time I found it. I quickly made my way over to Mya and pulled her into my lap. "Ok baby I have your

pump just focus on my voice and breathe." I shook the medicine and held it up to her lips.

"Breathe in sweetheart."

She breathed in slow and I pressed down harshly on the pump. She held her breath and then breathed

out slowly. I was going to give her another one but she turned to me and wrapped her arms tightly

around my neck. She snuggled into my chest and sighed. My heart was still beating fast but I placed

her pump on the night stand and kissed her forehead. "It's ok baby just take it slow and breathe."

We sat there for about five minutes. I made sure she was fully back to normal before I spoke breaking

the silence. "Ok baby breathe and take your time when I ask you this ok?" She nodded tightening her

grip on my shirt.

"What's wrong baby?"

Her eyes started to water again and she whimpered. "Breathe baby and answer daddy's question." She

looked up and me. "You gonna be mad daddy." I shook my head kissing her lips. I took a chance.

Surprisingly it calmed her down completely. "I promise I won't get mad baby." She nodded and sighed.

"Daddy I-I poo poo in pants... I'm sorry daddy I couldn't hold it. It hurt my tummy so bad and I had to

go." I didn't mean to but I let out a small chuckle. She looked up at me confused.

"Princess" I said rubbing her back. "It's ok to do that. I put you in a diaper so that you can go. Alright?"

She nodded. "Ok babe let's go get you changed." I stood placing her on my hip. I made sure to hold

her steady around her waist instead of under her butt. I carried her into the bathroom and pulled out the

changing table. When I laid her down I quickly roamed around the large bathroom grabbing what I

needed to change her. Since she still has on my shirt, I pulled it over her head and opened up her

diaper. I quickly pulled off the old diaper and tossed it in the trash. I grabbed the wipes and cleaned her

up and then applied powder. I put her in a purple unicorn diaper and then put my shirt back on her. I

cleaned up everything and washed my hands then went back over to Mya.

"See princess it wasn't that bad." She nodded making grabby hands at me. I picked her up and kissed

her cheek.

"Daddy I want a kiss." She said puckering her lips. I placed my lips on her and gave her a quick kiss.

She smiled and his her face in my neck.

I left the bathroom holding Mya closely in my arms. I check the time. 4:30 a.m. my eyes widened. How

could so much time pass?? I quickly left the room to go downstairs but Mya whined.

"Daddy noo.."

I froze what's wrong baby girl?" She held her arms out in the direction of the room. "Daddy you forgot

paci and teddy go back go back." I quickly went back to the room and grabbed what she wanted.

When we reached downstairs both Harry and Giselle were cuddled on the couch with their suitcases

"Daddy I wanna go down.." I raised an eyebrow "where are your manners missy?" She frowned and

kissed my cheek "Sorry daddy, please can I go down?" I nodded and placed her on her feet.

I watched as she walked over to Giselle and cuddles into her chest. "GG you leaving me?" Giselle

shook her head. "I'm coming back I promise. I'll just be gone for a little while ok?" Mya shook her head

as tears formed in her eyes.

"Don't goooo"

GG kissed her lips "remember what I told you?" She asked. Mya nodded, "you-you said 'always' " GG

nodded "exactly so I need you to be a big girl and wait for me to come back ok?" Mya nodded, "Ok GG

I be big girl just for you promise." GG smiled.

We heard the horn beep outside and both Harry and Giselle stood. Mya quickly ran over to Harry and

hugged him. "Bye Harry bye bye." He smiled and hugged her "Bye love I'll see you later ok?" Mya

nodded.

We all embraced in a group hug then Mya and I watched as they walked out the door dragging their

suitcases behind them.
