A Vengeful Girl

Chapter 67 Who Exactly is the Eldest Sister

Chapter 67 Who Exactly is the Eldest Sister

It'll be easy for Linda to break free from May Shen as she also had a dragon ring by which

She could escape on her own.

Who was the man behind May Shen?

However, Linda couldn't act rashly and alert the adversaries before she got to the bottom of this whole

thing.

"Give me a car with no license plate right now if you wanna save your fiancee's life."

"All right!" said Charles Mu, one eyebrow cocked.

"What about Vincent Zhou? You have taken him?" asked May Shen while narrowing her eyes.

"At the doorstep."

May Shen took Linda with her and stepped back, with one hand holding a shard and the other

squashing Linda's shoulder, "Let him go!"

Linda felt excruciating pain in her shoulder. May Shen must have tried very hard.

At the sight of Charles Mu's waving hand, Paul came to the car parked at the doorstep and untied Zhou

who had been tied tightly in the trunk.

"What else do you want? Spit it all out now!" said Linda impatiently. Johnson Xia was still in the house

and she was worried about him.

May Shen was being shilly-shally with her terms, spitting them out one by one. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

As she listened, Linda begun to get rather impatient.

May Shen snorted, "You are at my mercy now. You will do well not to piss me off, or I will kill you."

"All right! All right!" said Linda, "You see, I know you won't set me free even if you could leave here,

right?"

With a creepy smile, May Shen said, "Smart! So what?"

"Why not tell me your master?"

Shocked, May Shen was at lost for words for a moment, with her face turining white.

She unconsciously loosened up her grip on the shard.

"Well?" Linda retorted. She thought her stepmother must have cheated on Johnson Xia many times

during all these years.

"How do you know? You bugged me?"

"Just answer my question."

"You know what? Why would I tell you? You bitch, why did you come back?" May Shen's eyes revealed

a trace of chill as if she was to gobble Linda up.

Linda heared a furious voice coming from the room when she was about to say something. "How about

you tell me?"

May Shen quivered at what was no doubt Johnson's voice. A note of panic flashed through her eyes.

How strange! Isn't Johnson Xia supposed to be sleeping after taking the medicine? "What is

happening?"

On hearing the roaring, Charles Mu, with a hand on his forehead, sighed, "Why couldn't he just wait a

bit longer?"

Johnson Xia can't wait anymore. He walked out of the room, pointing his shaking hand at May Shen,

and he roared in rage, "May Shen, I've been good to you for all these years. How could you do such

thing to me?"

Things being what they are, May Shen was ready to quarrel openly and sneered, "Johnson Xia, would

you have married me if that bitch's mother were still alive? "

Johnson Xia fell into silence.

"You'll never think of me, will you? Tell me, who is the eldest sister, Linda or Lisa? Say it out!

Say it out! Why are you being a mute now? Are you scared of losing face in front of your dear

daughter? Are you afraid that Linda would learn the truth?

We had feelings for each other when we were kids. Have you forgotten what you have promised me

when I was 15? You had promised to throw me a grand wedding ceremony after you took over your

father's company. You asked me to wait. Fine! I waited you for five years, but look what I got? When

you decided to marry Sherry Nalan, the first daughter of the Nalan clan, did you ever care about my

feelings? Does your promise to me mean anything to you?"

May Shen said with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"What happened in the past is my fault. But I've been trying to fix it since I married you"

Carrying the guilt for May Shen, he didn't bring Linda back after Sherry Nalan died. Even though he's

aware of where she was, he decided against bringing her back.

Since the marriage between him and Sherry Nalan was not based on love, he had not cared much for

Linda who was lost the moment she was born. Instead, he invested all of his love in Lisa Xia.

"Seriously? I met you at 5; I fell in love with you at 15; and I gave birth to Lisa at 19. But you married

the other woman at my 20th birthday! Do you really think you can make up for what I have suffered in

those days?"

Said May Shen with tears trickling down her cheeks. Those painful memories started to come back

again, hurting her like someone was rubbing her wound with salt.

Back then she was young and ignorant, desirous of nothing but the promise of a the grand wedding

ceremony.

It never occured to her that she would learn the news of the marriage between Johnson Xia, the

second son of the Xia group, and the eldest daughter of the Nalan clan on TV.

Confronted with such a emotional accusation, Johnson Xia heaved a resigned sigh.

He had hurt her on this matter. He owed it to May Shen.

But he's not sorry.

The Xia clan at that time had two successors: Johnson Xia and Johnathan Xia, the eldest son. Back

then the CEO of Xia Group, Johnson Xia's father, came up with the idea that whoever married Sherry

Nalan would be crowned as the next CEO.

In order to expand his business, Johnson Xia exerted every efforts to court Sherry Nalan and finally

won her over, Though he wasn't into her at all.

"May, I have no choice and I have explained to you afterwards. You told me you understood, didn't

you? Why do you have to rake up the past?" Johnson Xia felt embarrassed by the public exposure of

things that he had done in the past in front of his daughter and son-in-law.

"Are you blaming me for embarrasing you in front of your daughter and exposing all the nasty things

you have done? Is that it ?" May Shen sneered.

"Please."

"What? You afraid?" May Shen continued, "Let me tell you, Johnson Xia, the truth is that I have hated

you all these years and I married you only to get back at you!"

The dangerous tension in the air kept brewing. Linda had been listening to their conversation quietly

since Johnson Xia walked out.

Linda wondered that Charles Mu probably knew it from the very beginning.

Charles Mu calmly observed the whole quarrel. When they were almost done, he asked, "You think you

have been wronged? That Lord Xia has not done right by you and that you have been waiting for him

for five long years? Is that what you trying to say? Should I remind you of what you have done during

those five years? You should know that the past has a way of catching up to you."
