A Relentless Pursuit for Love

Chapter 856

Chapter 856

For some reason, Sage felt bashful when she realized that Jace did not mind eating her

leftovers.

They decided on the trip last minute, so they could not fly in their private plane. It was too late to get the air traffic control’s approval. From NôvelDrama.Org.

All first-class and business class seats were gone by the time they booked their flight. They had no choice but to fly in economy class.

It had been a long time since Sage flew into economy class. The aisle was very crowded, so Jace half- escorted her in.

Their seats were in a three-seated row. Sage was originally in the middle seat, but Jace exchanged his window seat with her.

As soon as he sat down and fastened his seat belt, a beautiful girl came up to Jace with her luggage. She was chewing a piece of gum in her mouth and stood next to the aisle. “Hello, handsome. Can you please help me put my luggage? It’s too heavy for me to lift.” Sage looked up and saw a girl with a pale yellow dress and fluffy hair. She had a sweet look with an innocent and cute appearance.

Sage narrowed her eyes slightly like she saw a potential love rival. Jace glanced at the mini suitcase in the girl’s hand and said, “Sorry, I can’t lift it either.” The girl was stunned and glanced at his arm. “How can that be? You look strong.” Jace shook his arm. “It’s a prosthetic arm.’ The girl was stunned again. Sage froze too. Then, she forcefully held back her laugh and turned her head to the window.

It seemed like Old Dried Fish had learned to be mean. He even lied with a stern face.

“I’ll help you. I’ll help.”

The girl was not ugly. Although Jace refused to help, plenty of other men were willing to help. Soon, a gentleman offered to help lift the suitcase to the upper storage.

“Pretty, can I add your number?”

“Thank you. You’re such a nice person.” The girl thanked him. However, she did not give her number to him. The gentlemen received nothing but thanks and sat down unhappily.

The girl sat down in the seat near the aisle and kept glancing at Jace’s arm. Her face looked both annoyed and regretful.

What a handsome guy. Why was he disabled?

Sage got drowsy as soon as she boarded the plane. As the plane took off, she yawned at once. The air conditioner was blasting on full power. Jace asked the flight attendant for a blanket, but the girl beside him took it away when the flight attendant brought it.

Thank you. I’m really cold.” She thought Jace requested the blanket for her when she was cold. After all, she was a beautiful girl. A girl like her would always get preferential treatment whenever she went. Jace frowned and did not comment much. However, he asked the flight attendant again, “Can I have another blanket?”

The flight attendant answered, “Sorry, sir. Many people are asking for blankets. It’s the last one.”

Jace frowned again. By then, the girl had realized that the blanket was not for her. She looked a little embarrassed. When she turned her head to look at Sage and saw her face, she felt even more

embarrassed. D*mn! She was prettier than her!

Perhaps, it was out of jealousy that the girl wrapped the blanket on her body tighter. She closed her eyes when she met Jace’s gaze, pretending to know nothing. Jace was rendered speechless. He wanted to say something, but Sage tugged him. “It’s fine. It’s just an hour’s flight. We’ll land soon. I’ll stay awake and be fine.”

Jace looked back at her and simply took off his jacket to put it over Sage. Sage refused reflexively, “I don’t need it. You’ll be cold too.” | Jace covered her tightly and joked, “I won’t. These are prosthetics.” Sage was rendered speechless. She could not help but laugh. He probably would not stop repeating this joke over and over. No one knew when the girl next to him opened her eyes. She glanced at Jace’s toned arm again. It did not look like a prosthetic at all!
