Cynthia slept the whole afternoon in the lounge.
When she came out, she saw Liam was reading the documents attentively with his head down and signing his name from time to time.
Liam’s profile looked more angular, with a hawk nose and a clear outline, as if he were a comic character.
Leaning against the door frame, Cynthia was obsessed with the scene.
Finally, after reading one of the documents, Liam discovered her. He waved his hand and said with a smile, “Come here and hug me.”
Cynthia walked over obediently.

“How about you come to work with me from now on?”

Cynthia looked down at her casual coat.
She wondered if she would embarrass Liam with such clothes.
Seeming to have read Cynthia’s mind, Liam pinched her face.

Noticing Cynthia’s nervousness, Liam comforted her in a low voice. “He invited us to attend the memorial meeting for your mother tomorrow.”
“I can go by myself,” said Cynthia hesitantly.
Putting down the pen in his hand, Liam raised his head. He looked at her firmly and said, “Cynthia, you’re the one I love. You don’t have to hide your fragility in front of me.”
Hearing Liam’s attitude, Cynthia felt warm in her heart.
But she still reminded him carefully. “The only one I miss in the Larson family is my mother. You don’t need to care
about the rest of them tomorrow.”
“Including Mason,” added Cynthia as she looked straight at Liam with firm eyes.
Liam knew that the relationship between Cynthia and the Larson family was not that good, but he didn’t expect that it would be as bad as this.
In order to make Cynthia feel at ease, Liam nodded in agreement.
“Okay. I’ll listen to you.”
Cynthia stayed in the office with Liam until he got off work.
During the period, Ziv came to report that the trending topic about Yolanda had been removed.

At 6 p.m., Liam with Cynthia went straight to the place he appointed with his friends.
Looking out of the window at the increasingly deviated road, Cynthia asked uncertainly, “Are you sure you’re on
the right way?”

Liam said, “It’s our secret base.”
At this time, the sun had set. Lush trees on both sides of Hillside Road darkened the sight.
Today, Liam drove a sports car, whose roar was especially loud on the quiet road.

Queena turned her head to look at Yolanda and then returned in disgust.
