‘As if I will let that happen?’ Calvin thought. ‘I will talk about it with her later rather than cutting her words in front of her mommy.’

“Really? I can stay here?” Ethlyn asked in surprise and looked at the frown on Calvin’s face while Roselet nodded her head. “How?”

“By marrying daddy, but before that, you have to fall in love with daddy,” Roselet said with a big smile on her face, and hearing it, Ethlyn’s face paled while Calvin started laughing loudly.

“Hahhahhahha!!” He laughed, holding his stomach. He tried to control his laughter when Roselet glared at him, but he just couldn’t, so, Roselet pushed breakfast in his mouth so that he would stop laughing, and it worked.

Calvin let Ethlyn drop Roselet school today along with Nelina because Roselet wanted the same. And after the conversation that happened in the morning, he was positive that his daughter wasn’t leaving him at any cost, and at the same time, Ethlyn couldn’t stay around Roselet all the time because as much as he knew her, she would like to die than marrying him and for falling in love with him, she had to take a couple of lives.

And, and, and the most important part was that even Calvin had to fall in love with Ethlyn in case there would be any chance of marriage between them. And Calvin was hell positive that he could never fall in love with someone like her. Hell, to be honest, he never fell in love, just like his twin brother Colton. Only the difference between them was that his twin’s brother was a virgin and had nothing to do with any woman, while he had to do everything with women before.

He shook his head to remove all these things from his mind and removed his t-shirt because it got spoiled when Roselet forcefully made her eat breakfast to shut his mouth. He had barely thrown the t-shirt off the bed when he sensed Ethlyn, who was about to enter his room, fuming in anger.

“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?” She yelled, feeling frustrated. “You taught all those things to Rose, didn’t you?” She yelled again, reaching near him.

“I knew you’re a shameless man, but I didn’t know that you would break the record of shamelessness by using my daughter against me.” She yelled, making Calvin lose his temper. He grabbed her neck and hit her head against the wall. He couldn’t understand why he used to lose control of his anger in front of her. Hell, he had never felt this angry in his whole life before, but thanks to HER, she was forcing his beast to come out of him again and again.

“She is my daughter, Ethlyn Smith,” he said with a low growl. “Just because you gave birth to her doesn’t make you a mother. I have… I have fulfilled all the responsibilities and duties of a mother in her life, so you stand nowhere around me.” He hissed, leaving her neck.

“I have a reason because of which I wasn’t there for her,” Ethlyn said, rubbing her neck. “But now that I’m back, I want my daughter.”

“Yeah! Yeah! Keep dreaming.” Calvin taunted. “And why do you even need Rose? A slut like you can sleep with anyone again and have a pup. It’s not a big deal for you, is it?” he said and watched her body getting stiffened, and her wolf was on the surface.

“I can say the same for you, Manwhore. I have sure you would have fucked a lot of chicks, so choose one and get her pregnant with your pup. It’s not a big deal for you, is it?” She taunted him back in the same tone. “It will be easier for you in comparison to me because I have slept with only two men, unlike you, who have fucked for more than centuries.” She added.

“As if I have seen you getting fucked by just two, Slut.” Calvin said, and in the next moment, Ethlyn attacked him for calling her slut again and again. They both landed on the bed as Ethlyn jumped on Calvin. Only Moon Goddess knew what Ethlyn was thinking before attacking Calvin. Before in a couple of seconds, Calvin flipped the position, pinning her down. As his one hand was on her throat, and he had one knee between her legs.

Ethlyn tried to fight, but Calvin pinned both her hands above her head with his other hand.

“I might throw you in the cell for attacking an Alpha.” Calvin hissed. Ethlyn tried to fight but failed.

“You pushed me to the extent that I lost control over my anger.”

“I didn’t speak anything wrong, just the truth. Now, you can’t accept the truth; then it’s not my problem, Slut.” Calvin hissed.

“I’m not a slut.” Ethlyn said, but this time, her voice didn’t hold anger but pain, “I was just framed that night. Someone plotted against me, and I fell into the trap.” She mumbled, and again her anger returned, looking at Calvin, “Or who knows it was you to take revenge on me for slapping you publicly.”

Calvin was about to say that he didn’t do anything when his nose hit a familiar scent, and he turned his head to confirm whether she was indeed her or his smelling power was playing tricks with him.

‘Mom,’ His eyes widened, seeing his mother, Sophia Haysbert, at the door.

While using Calvin’s distraction as a benefit, Ethlyn hit her head hard with his and flipped the position, pinning Calvin down on the bed.

“Leave me, you idiot,” Calvin said, trying to throw Ethlyn’s away.

“No way.”

“Woowww!!” Sophia clapped, and hearing it, Ethlyn quickly left Calvin and looked at the lady, feeling embarrassed of their position, while Calvin quickly jumped off the bed. “You two, come outside.”
