Ethlyn walked out of the kitchen and sat on the couch, keeping Roselet in her lap.
“At that time, Calvin was angry, but it looks like he isn’t angry anymore; otherwise, you wouldn’t be here,” Roselet responded, knowing her father very well; sometimes, he might behave rudely in anger, but he undoes his mistake as well when he realizes his mistake. Roselet turned her head and looked at Calvin. “I’m so proud of you, daddy. I’m glad that you didn’t let me down.” She said, giving him a flying kiss.
Calvin caught it and brought it close to his heart, faking to faint, on which Roselet giggled.
By observing them for a while, Ethlyn felt that she wasn’t needed in Roselet’s life anymore.

“By the way, Mommy, are you here just to meet me?” Roselet asked hopefully.
“No, sweetheart. I’m here to apologize to you for my rude behavior. I’m so sorry for hurting you and making you cry.” Ethlyn sincerely apologized while Calvin sat beside them on the couch beside them, holding Roselet’s breakfast in his hand.

“Mommy, Mommy!!” Roselet stopped her after munching her food. Ethlyn smiled meekly and careless her hair, “I’m glad that you love your daddy so much. And don’t be sorry for telling the truth.” She said so that Roselet wouldn’t feel bad. While Calvin was so proud of her daughter, he would buy her anything she would ask at that moment.
Roselet smiled, “Now, except for this topic, why are you here, Mommy?”
“I guess nothing,” Ethlyn mumbled. “I just wanted to share each and every moment of my life with you, but I also respect your decision to stay with your daddy.”
“But I never said I don’t want to stay with you,” Roselet said, and all of a smile wiped from Calvin’s face. “You can stay here with us. In that way, I will have both mommy and daddy.” She suggested.
