“Leave? There is no way I’m leaving without my daughter. Rose is not just his daughter, but she is mine as well.” Ethlyn yelled at him, losing her patience. A couple of warriors started looking at her as if she had gone mad or what? Lemieux didn’t waste his time by arguing with her or making her leave forcefully because where she wasn’t standing in their territory.
“Your wish. Stay here, then. But let me warn you that this is a hunter’s prone zone as well. The story of Blood Moon Pack existence by a hunter around fifty years back is famous.” Saying this, he left from there.
Ethlyn gulped nervously at this information. She had read about this incident in her pack school as an example of how dangerous hunters could be. Hunters had killed each and every werewolf in this pack, only the werewolves who were out of the pack that night could only survive.
She stayed there standing for a while until she observed a warrior checking her naked frame. She fumed in anger and shifted into her wolf form.

The news of a mysterious she-wolf at the pack entrance, claiming Roselet as her daughter, flew like a forest fire in the whole pack. Pack members started visiting her to see who the woman was, who left her pup here years back and was here to claim her pup shamelessly without knowing the full truth.

Lemieux informed Calvin that Ethlyn left from the pack entrance, on which he laughed mentally.
‘Only this was your love for Rose? That you left from here just after twelve hours.’ Calvin thought. As in person, he wanted Ethlyn to leave, but at the same time, he didn’t want a mother to not give up on her pup this soon.
After two hours, Lemieux updated him about Ethlyn’s arrival again.
‘It looks like she left for a hunt, Alpha. After all, she must be hungry.’ Lemieux suggested.
‘I didn’t ask what you think.’ Calvin growled at him before closing the mind link.
‘She will have to leave before Mom and dad’s arrival.’ He thought, knowing that sooner or later, he would have to throw a party for female Beta. A party meant the arrival of Zordan’s parents, who were out for their god knows on which honeymoons, and also his parents because Zordan was also like a son to his parents.

“Boss, I saw a female werewolf.” A hunter informed his leader, who listened to him without any interest. “And she is not from Blood Moon Pack.”
“Are you sure?” The leader asked because he didn’t want to mess with the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack by harming their pack members.
“Yes, Boss!! She came to our area in search of food.” He informed. “All the pack members of the pack know very well that there is no food in our area.”
“It means that she is still hungry.” The leader smirked, thinking something.

Ethlyn was lying on the ground, closing her eyes. She wanted to sleep because she hadn’t slept since the last night, and also, she ran a lot after waking from a deep sleep but damn to an empty stomach, which wasn’t letting her rest properly. She searched for the food nearby but found nothing except some fruits, and as a werewolf, her diet was way too much than just some fruits.
Hours had passed since she arrived after searching for food, and all of a sudden, she smelt blood; her wolf raised her head, wondering from where it was coming. She looked at the warriors of the border who were also looking around, maybe after smelling the scent of the blood.
A part of Ethlyn wanted to go and check from where this smell was coming, but then she decided to go against that thought; she had no interest in becoming the actress in the horror movie who always left their room in search of ghosts after hearing some noise.
After a while, her ears rose when she heard the noise of someone’s paw hitting the ground. She focused on the sound and scent and realized it was a deer. She licked her mouth with her tongue and quickly stood up on her paws to finally have her dinner; she couldn’t miss even a single chance.
She ran in the direction of the food to chase it quickly before she lost him from her sight. And finally, after running for a while, her eyes landed on the deer eating leaves.
She leaned down on the ground and started moving toward the deer silently. She was about to jump on the deer, but he became alert and started running to save his life, and while Cinder started chasing him to her food, she couldn’t stay hungry more. Little did she know that she was at gunpoint with someone else. She was about to catch the door when the hunter shot her.
She howled loudly and for a longer time, indicating that she was in pain.

On the other side,
Calvin tried to sleep, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t even have his dinner properly tonight, knowing that Ethlyn was sitting outside his pack to meet her daughter without having any food. He could understand why he was feeling so uneasy because Ethlyn was his love’s mother, and he knew when his daughter would come to know about it, she wouldn’t be happy with what he was doing.
Though Lemieux told him that she might have left for the hunt for two hours, he knew that there wouldn’t be any food around.
‘What if she would die by doing a hunger strike by sitting outside my pack?’ He wondered. His wolf was nagging him to at least offer food to her.
‘Didn’t mom teach you that you should always provide food and water to the needy even if he or she is your enemy?’ Keanu reminded him. ‘What if you tell to your daughter if something goes with her mommy? Will she be pleased knowing her daddy did all this to her mommy?’
