“Much better now,” Jackson answered. He had Serenity wear his suit jacket and helped her button it up. He then tidied her messy hair before restarting the car and driving down the mountain.

When the car pulled up to the gate of the Valor Residence, Serenity unbuckled her seat belt and prepared to get out. However, Jackson stopped her. “Wait. I’ll carry you in.”

“No need, I can walk myself,” Serenity said. She was not hurt anywhere except for a red wrist.

“Your dress is so torn. Is it really okay for you to walk in there like that?” Jackson reminded her.

Serenity’s cheeks flushed red. Then, she fell into silence.

Jackson walked to the other side of the car and carefully picked Serenity up from the passenger seat. Then, he carried her into

The servants who passed by along the way glanced sideways at them.

Serenity’s face flushed redder, and even her neck was red. She buried her head in Jackson’s arms, embarrassed.

She thought those who saw her in his suit would get the wrong idea! Well, of course… What actually happened earlier seemed a little improper too.
